I bought a 1969 Vette from Corvette Mike w/o seeing it and was made comfortable by them that I wouldn`t have any problem and don`t need to come see the car. I was admittedly foolish enough to buy my car without checking it out first because I thought that I could trust that Corvette Mike (a well known Corvette Dealer) wouldn`t misrepresent anything significant. I asked for lots of photos, asked tons of questions abou... view moret the condition, and they even made a video of the car that they posted on Youtube for me. They also told me that they sell cars all of the time site unseen and never had anyone complain. After getting the car there were items that they specifically didn`t photograph or point out to me before I received it. Immediately I brought the car to my mechanic and they found around $3,000 of fixes that needed to be made. I don`t think it is reasonable to have over $3k of non-disclosed issues Day 1 on a car from a "Corvette Dealer". I have been speaking with the salesperson at Corvette Mike for the past 3+ weeks since I got the car, and was hoping that they would provide a fair resolution. They are not willing to do anything. These were the non-disclosed issues in no specific order:
-Windshield wipers don`t work (vacuum is leaking)
-Convertible top doesn`t latch to rear lid (strikers are missing). One of the photos they sent actually had the top not latched in the rear and I asked about it and they told me that the previous owner never snapped it down because he didn`t want to scratch the paint (there are scratches all over the rear lid and clearly they knew the strikers were missing too)
-Parking Brake doesn`t work (needed adjustment but sold to me with no brake gripping at all)
-Driver side window needs a new motor
?ˆ“Steering box is leaking/drained and covered in grease and coupler as well.
-Lower control arm bushings on driver side are deteriorated and other 3 are dry rotted and cracked.
-Rear differential is leaking
-Snubber bushing ?ˆ“ dry rotted and cracked
-Shocks were completely shot and compressed
-Front hood doesn`t close properly and pops open when driving if you go over any kind of little bump
-Multiple chips all around the car of varying depth and size (note that they didn`t mention any chips or scratches or take any photos of those spots). The two most significant chips/scratches are the following: 1 chip around 1.5 inches long completely through the fiberglass to the left of the hood on the driver`s side quarter panel; another 7 inch wiggly scratch on the passenger side front quarter panel.
- No jack in the car
- Chrome peel on front bumper
- Ignition column lock disconnected (no big deal at all)
I told them that I thought it would be fair for them to cover half the cost - that went nowhere. Some of the above issues are maintenance issues but shouldn`t have been needing to be done "now" if they weren`t disclosing them. I spoke to so many people from individuals to other dealers around the country before buying this car, and most of them volunteered without my even asking, photos of any issues on the paint as well as would list for me maintenance or repairs that should be taken care of. Corvette Mike was going to install Vintage Air for me with a labor cost of over $2,000. Just had it installed for less than $1,000 for labor from a Corvette shop. Real nice to rip off someone for labor on a car you just sold to them.

Very good shop. The service they did on my car was top rate. They also sell cars and have a very excellent collection of cars
