Honest and reliable
This is a company you can trust. Ward Sevice is fair and truthful and will fully explain everything. I am really happy I found a place that I can trust when something goes wrong with my car. I plan on being a customer forever and will recommend them to any one.

Our Family Service Center!
We have been taking our cars to Ward?ˆ™s Service with absolute confidence for about 8 years. They have helped us with our regular service needs, and also with a variety of repairs. Wards is always professional and friendly. They have competently diagnosed and repaired our vehicles each time we have brought them in. Wards Service has also tested cars to help our children make decisions when purchasing used vehicles... view more. We completely trust them for their valued opinion and mechanical expertise. It is always a pleasure to do business with Wards. We are happy customers.

excellent service always
The wife`s Toyota Sequoia had a dead battery in front of our house recently. Ward Service came out to our house in Monrovia, jumped the car to take to their shop, and gave my wife a ride to work. Super service. Thanks Jim !

always the best and fairest service
I have been using Wards` Auto Service for a few years and have never once been dissatisfied or felt cheated. My most memorable experience was when I had a leak coming from the A.C. . they repaired a hose and did a few minor things and sent me home. The next morning I saw the leak was still there. I called and they came and picked up my vehicle and told me that there was a crack in my radiator and they replaced it fro... view more free since they were not sure if it was there the day they fixed it or if it was new. They felt responsible for not seeing it when they repaired the hose. They delivered it back to me free of charge and ever since then I have been loyal customer and I highly recommend their service to anyone who asks. Thanks Jim and Melanie for being who you are!

Worth a Drive
Even though Monrovia is not the most convenient for me when I need to service my cars, I do not mind traveling to Wards -- EVER.

I know when I take my car in, I am not going to be ripped off, I am not going to be told I need work that I do not need, and I know the work they do will be top notch.

I once took my son`s Dodge to a dealer for recall work and they told me I also needed brakes on all four ... view morewheels. Not only did Wards do the work for half the cost the dealer qouted me, but they told me the front brakes did NOT need to be replaced. Many other repair places would have simply replaced both sets (since that is what I came in to do.) THAT is integrity.

I highly recommend Ward`s Service. Even if you are not in the immediate area.

Hands down the Best Auto Repair and Service
Let me start by saying that my husband and I love cars. He has owned easily 20 in the last 10 years of every make and model (BMW, Audi, Jeep, Cadillac, Lexus etc). For this reason I feel that we are able to speak with confidence about experiences we have had with dealerships, repair and sevice.
As a women when we enter a mechanics warehouse we are treated usually with very little respect and 9 times out of 10 char... view moreged way more than a man would be charged. This has been proved numerous time on numerous occasions. I have dealt with rude, short and obnoxious people at many car dealership repair shops. I have very little time to sit around and wait for my car to be fixed and even less patience to call in a month ahead of time to reserve a spare car while mine is in the shop.
Now with all of that said I must write about my experience at Ward Auto Service..........
Everytime that I call I am greeted with a kind voice wanting to know the issue with my car. After only having it serviced one time at Ward`s they already knew who I was when I called for my second repair. When I pull into their garage someone is always there to greet me by my first name and take my keys. There is never a long line going down the street like Lexus. Their cost for repair or maintenance is definitely fair and reasonable if not cheap compared to where we have had our numerous cars serviced. I have two young children and the Ward`s repair men have assisted me in getting my car home if I am unable to pick it up with my husband or have no extra car seats available to use their shuttle. We absoulutely love Ward service and have already recommended them to all of my friends and family. They are the BEST! If you want fast, nice, and affordable service you should choose Ward. I never go anywhere else now!

The Best. Plain and simple.
I have been taking my car and my wifes car there for several years.
In the past I had the same problem most of us have had; we dont mind paying a fair price for good work but hate the feeling that you may be getting ripped off.
At Wards that is the last thing on my mind. Their work has been consistently 5 stars every time.
I wont go elsewhere because I trust them implicitily.
I am also a business owner, ... view moreand as such I tend to be very picky about whom I recommend, and there are few whom I would recommend without hessitation to my family and friends, please know Wards is one of those few who gets my endorsement.
They have a sign that says (something like this) "" The most inexpensive job is the one done right the first time"".
I think we have all gotten ""cheap"" price and then had to pay buckets for someone to fix the mistakes.
Go to Wards for all your cars needs, you will be happy and in the long run you will save on $ and time plus none of the stress.

Horrible
A simple diagnostic request to find misfire culprit. Three hours of labor at 96/hr later and they are still confused. No test plan, no methodology and no regard for customer`s pocketbook. Their offer to replace parts blindly along the way was the thing I was looking to avoid by bringing in for ""professional"" diagnostic. Not only did they not follow a diagnosis through from a to b (jumped from spark plug wires to f... view moreuel filter back to ignition coil) but then when they found something that needed replacement (they claim) they wanted $400 for a $100 part and 1/2 hours labor. Gary is willing and able to b.s. you if you don`t know slightly more than him about cars. He also struggles with basic physics. When I first brought my car in he struggled with a concept that even made Jim (shop`s namesake) wince in embarrassment. I wince to think of how far over the coils my neighbor, who offered his friendly recommendation for Ward`s, is getting raked over the coils with his german sports car. I pity the guy for buying into the ""Grin at you while we clumsily stumble about your car at $100/hr"" philosophy that is king at Ward`s. No wonder every other customer there that I saw was an old man lost in the 50`s when customer service and honesty meant something -- an illusion they clearly buy into at Ward`s service. If you value your hard earned money, and don`t want to be bull-sh***ed while you`re at it -- AVOID WARDS. edit: I forgot to mention that when I went to pick up my car the woman who took my money had so much personality it stung. If I recall correctly it was ""Here`s your keys, your car is out back you can go get it.""
