Mr. Chang is a very honest and competent mechanic. My old 1999 hyundai elantra had 4th gear that did not work. Mr. Chang accomplished a great rebuilt job with a reasonable price. One more great thing is all the work was done in just 2 days! Now my car runs very smoothly and powerfully!

Honest quality service

I am just glad that I gave this place a try. It`s just hard to trust people these days. I was quoted an outrageous price from a nearby mechanic. So before I decided to resell my vehicle, I gave this place a try. I was thoroughly explained on what the problem was and I given a reasonable estimate. I took the risk and I can`t be happier I made the decision. It`s been over 2 years and my car has been running better t... view morehan ever. I`ve now maintained a close relationship with Chang, and whenever I have any car problems, I come here for advice. I`d try this place out before or after any other options.

Touched by honesty.. new favorite mechaic

Long story short, I am a big bargain hunter. I have a 2001 Ford Windstar and I`ve had problems with driving it on a the freeway. I took it to a local auto center and they said the problem was rooted from my transmission. I first took it to the dealer and they recommended me to replace the transmission. Because my warranty expired, I took it to their recommended transmission specialist in El Monte and that mechanic qu... view moreoted $4000 for various "other" problems including replacing various parts. After debating whether to sell the vehicle.. through a friend`s recommendation, I gave Mr. Chang a call and after examining the vehicle, he told me that there were no serious problems and for a fraction of the price he made a couple of part changes and rebuilt the transmission. It`s been almost a year and my car just runs fine. His honest opinion and reliable service turned me into a loyal customer. I recommend him with two thumbs up. He definitely deserves this review.
