This place exceded my expectat...

This place exceded my expectations! My car had been acting up and I knew that I couldn`t put off having it fixed any longer. I took it to Hank`s on a friend`s referral and they were great - they didn`t charge me to diagnose the problem and they fully explained the problem and 2 courses of action that were available to me. i made some phone calls to compare prices, and they were FAR cheaper than the dealer and well... view more below the other shops I called. I was pleasantly surprised when I called AAA and they recommended Hank`s - turns out they are a AAA approved repair facility. Homework done, I gave the go ahead and had them fix my car - once again it is "purring like a kitten" - wish I had taken it in months ago!

Good, honest, local

My mother and sister both have been taking their cars to Hanks for years so I decided to give them a try for my last service on my Infiniti G35 (tired of paying the high prices at the dealer!). Hank`s did an excellent job at 1/3 of what the dealer wanted to charge.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, RACISTS!

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE, DO NOT GO HERE! I made a yelp account just to write this review. 1st Experience: My mother needed new tires so she went to Hank`s because it was local. They quoted her a price, and since she is not experienced, she told them that she needs to consult with her husband. Steve, one of the managers, responded with ""Pshh you Middle-Eastern women are so weak, you need to ask your husban... view moreds for everything."" She was outraged and even more embarrassed since it was in front of her daughter. She told me that she was shaking at the knees and left the shop feeling terrible. 2nd Experience: I have a special tire size, and Hank`s was the only place close enough with the tires in stock. I got a quote over the phone for $225 per tire, and I said that was fine. When I towed the car to the shop, Mike, another manager, quoted me $275 per tire!! When I told him that I was quoted a lower price, he responded with ""Then why the f**k are you asking how much the tires are?"" He then turned his back to me and walked away while my tires were off the car, and I was pretty much stuck. I had to go to one of the other workers to have the wheels put back on my car and I had the car towed back, obviously outraged. I have also heard similar stories from my friends. I will never step my foot into this establishment ever again.

What a Rip Off!

Hanks Tire is way expensive and did not do a good job of diagnosing my cars problem. My car broke down the other day and I had AAA tow it to and approved repair shop. When Hank?s called I must say they did give me the price of around $600 but I was in a hurry and needed it done so in actually paying that much I am to blame.
BUT?. They told me they could not a find a problem with my car. I said that I had it towed... view more there it wasn?t running what do you mean you can?t a problem. They said they ran a diagnostic on it and there was nothing wrong that they could find. They said I needed 2 new tires and alignment and that they would clean the fuel injectors that that may be the problem. This turned out to be an expensive guess. When I picked up the car I noticed it did not have my AAA discount on the receipt. I asked the guy were my AAA discount was listed and he said it was included in the price. I do not think so I believe I got taken but what was I going to do about it now. I was the dummy that approved the work. I told the guy not to cut me any deals I would not be back so he might as well stick it to me.
The next day not being comfortable with their diagnosis and worried about my car break down on the road. I took the car to another shop. They found the faulty component that was causing my car to stall in all of 10 min. I really got taken for a ride at Hank?s I shouldn?t have trusted them. I guess the work they did was okay the wheels have not come of the car. Yet?

Great Service, Very Honest

Hank`s Tire is very competent and trustworthy. We`ve brought several cars to them over the years for different kind of work, from tire repair to smog to presale inspection to engine repair. We`ve been pleased every time. They`re responsive and fast.
