Ok, where should I start. My car failed smog so I got assistance from the Consumer Assistance Program (CAP) to help with up to 500.00 in emission-related repairs. I needed to choose a shop that was a star certified test and repair station and since this one was and was close to my work I chose them. Well first of all, John, must be a complete idiot because he supposedly worked on CAP cars all the time, as he put it, ... view moreand yet knew nothing about how it worked. He tried to tell me I had to pay up to 650.00 of my own money before I could get help so I actually had to have a technician from the CAP program call him to set him straight (he was probably just trying to get money out of me). Next they were suppose to be diagnosing my car and about a week in he calls me to ask if he can take my car to Palmdale because that is where his star certified technician supposedly is. Why on earth would his tech be in Palmdale when he is in Hesperia? Finally after having my car for two long weeks he calls and tells me that his tech has narrowed it down to the problem either being the catalytic converter or that it needed a "major" tune up, whatever that means. He tells me that CAP wont cover a tune up so I would have to pay 582.00 for it to be done. Another ploy to get my money. I decided this had gone on long enough so I got my car out of there, but even though he never actually diagnosed the main problem, I still had to pay 98.00 for a diagnostic charge. Here`s the real kicker, after driving my car home, and its quite a drive since I live in Running Springs, I discover that the morons never put my gas cap back on. One of the other reasons I chose this shop was that some of the reviews on Yellow pages were positive, well they must have friends do this for them because I`m here to tell you not to take your car there, you`ll be making a huge mistake!!

Great customer service. The employee Philip was thorough with my car and very helpful. Gave me a GREAT discount on the repair work I needed and got my car in and out of the shop. The place is a little run down and could use some TLC but the service was well over the top and I will most likely return again.

The guys who work there are so friendly and it`s always a pleasure to go there to have my oil changed. They`re quick and they listen to what you want for your car to be done.

Great Detective Work

This is to thank you for the great detective work in finding the elusive cause of the ""check engine"" light in my wife`s car. After all your testing you were sure that the engine air intake valves were the culprits, others weren`t so sure. Still driving with no check engine light.

After worrying myself to death about what was wrong with my car a friend told me to go here. I called and the gentleman said bring it in and we will see whats wrong, they had me up and running perfect in 2 hours. The noise my neighbor who is a mechanic said was an internal engine noise and would cost over a thousand dollars to fix turned out to be a bad water pump. Thanks Meineke!
