Everything was great until they failed to pay off my car in a timely manner. This probably would have been a good review even after them taking longer than they said for paying, but the guy accused me of lying! (keep reading) THey told us check would be at bank the very next day. Sold our truck to them on 6/29/13. Today is 7/9/13.I called bank to be sure and sure enough....no payoff and in 10 days a payment was sched... view moreuled to be taken out of my account. Called city auto and they said it takes 10 days... Bank is right around the corner from them, and they flat out told my husband that check would be at bank next day...which would have been 7/1/13. My bank said they process immediately and hadnt received pymt. Bank told me to call police and BBB if things werent resolved by end of day. I relayed that info to them both times I called. First time I called, a salesman answered and said he would call me right back. I called them back 30 minutes later, because I feel it shouldnt take that long to receive a call. Second call an older gentleman answered and tried to help but said his only job was to answer phone. Said he couldnt find our file at all. I asked if I should just come pick up my truck then. He said the other salesman were with customers and would call me back. Received a call back and younger salesman said that it would take 10 days and I explained to him that we were told otherwise and it really should take that long because then im charged another months payment. I also relayed to him that the bank informed me what I should do and he said not to worry. I told him I was worried because I read another review that said they never paid off their vehicle either. He said it would be taken care of by 5pm. I called back at 4:47 pm. older gentleman answered and I asked if it had been taken care of. He said yes and said, "but you lied to me" I said "what???" He said you told me you sold the truck on the 29th of last month and it was the 2nd of this month. I said "The paperwork you filled out says 6-29-13." (which is in fact the correct date) He said "No, all paperwork we have says 7-2" I told him that it ticks me off that he called me a liar and that it isnt my fault that their pepole wait days to fill out paperwork and do what they are supposed to do" He said "well we are done here" and hung up. I called my bank and a payment was made. P.S. f they try to tell you that this review is a lie...feel free to contact me and ill be glad to show you my paperwork
