Fast, Friendly and Excellent results.

I took my 2004 Miata to Ding Masters yesterday and I still can`t believe what an incredible job Carl did.

As many of you can relate, there are few things worse than coming out of a store and seeing a door ding on the side of your flawless car.

I had such an incident on the 4th of July and I was both bummed out and pretty pissed off! Afterall, who does that and just drives away? Not exactly the way you... view more want to remember one of the best days of the year.

Anyway, the next day I did some online research and came across Ding Masters. Of course, I read all the reviews available and was more than a little skeptical after seeing a couple of bad reviews. Still, I`ve seen the Old Red Fire engine around town for years so they must be doing something right and decided to go in for a free quote.

Carl (the owner) was very friendly and professional and gave me a quote of $95 to take out the door ding. I wasn`t sure if this was a good price or not, but it seemed like a good price to me if I didn`t have to look at that dent for the rest of the time I own my car.

I made an appointment and brought my car in the following day. Carl was once again courteous and professional. Originally he had asked for the car to be dropped off for an hour, but after 30 minutes he was done.

Having never been to a ding repair shop, I didn`t know what to expect. In my initial visit, Carl informed me it would be 95% or better. With that in mind, I looked for the ding only to be pleasantly surprised. I couldn`t find it at all and Carl had to point out where it had been. Wow!

After I left, I got to thinking why would a couple of people leave negative reviews. So, I did more research on Youtube with regards to ding and dent removal and found that as good as a person is at repairing these sort of issues, they can only do so much. Sometimes the damage extent or location does not allow for a near perfect repair. Sounds reasonable to me.

I recommend viewing some of the Youtube dent and ding repair videos. It will give you a better idea of what to expect and what not to expect.

Bottom line, I would go to there again without a doubt.

This is my first online review and I had to sign up with citysearch to do so, but I think good customer service and excellent workmanship deserves credit.

Excellent workmanship

I have a 94 Cavalier Convertible. It had a lot of dings and the right rear was pushed in. I took it to Ding Masters and was told it would cost $500 to clean up everything. I am really glad I did it. He removed over 50 small dings from my car. Imagine the bondo at other repair places. He knocked out the right rear even cleaner than I expected. A small amount of paint chipped off, but considering the size of the... view more damage, this was expected. To make my visit even better, he told me that he noticed the left rear was lightly pushed in too and he pushed that out without charging me anything extra. I know he did this because of the way everything fit together after he was done. He even pointed out an area that he was not happy with, but stated he couldn`t make it any better. I don`t see anything wrong there, but I will take his word for it. I don`t know what the problem was with the person who gave a bad review, my car is much older than his, and the paint is fine. If you are tired of all those dings from parking lots and don`t want to paint you car, come here. You will be glad you did.

My cars looks brand new and i save a bunch of money

Someone gave me a big dent above my wheel well in a parking lot. The dent was noticeably bad because the rest of my car was nearly perfect. I took it to the best body shop in town and they quoted over $1000. Carl quoted me much less than 1/2 that. I was a little reluctant because of some of these reviews, but Carl seemed trustworthy. In fact, I asked him about the two less favorable reviews from yelp (those from 6/13/10 and 12/6/10 and he explained every detail). Bottom line: my BMW looks brand new again. He did a great job. He was total pro. He`s been doing this for 20+ years and it shows. I hope I don`t have need to take it back again, but if I do I will. I highly recommend ding masters in Ventura.

Dig Masters makes dents worse!!!!

Stay away from this place...it is the place with the old fire engine. Took my car to Carl`s Ding Masters (dingmasters) paintless dent repair. Carl was real friendly and told me that he could get my small dent to look 90% better for $125.00. The dent was on the fender and about 2 inches across. I am going to sell the car, and though the dent was hardly noticeable, I wanted the car perfect. The paint was all chipped and now instead of a hardly noticeable smooth dent there are multiple small raised bumps, like someone hammered a screwdriver from underneath the dent, it looks terrible, absolutely terrible. He did not charge me screwing up my car...what a guy? He said my car had old paint and that`s why it turned out like that, I told him it was 2004, he new it was a 2004, he just stated I had old paint...WTF? So maybe he can fix dents on only new cars, and not the antique 2004 models??? This place is a joke.

this place is awful. customer service was completely ridiculous and a joke. my car looked like it was even worse afterwards as well! i dont know what they use on the cars but i for one was not impressed. For sure would NOT recommend
