One of the best body shops in the United States

Where do I begin? EMCW has been great to me over the years. They painted a 1997 SS SLP Spoiler for my Camaro along with a Berger panel. Both matched perfectly. I had my 2008 Civic fixed by EMCW. I had it back in under two weeks. The bumper and right quarter panel matched the rest of the car perfectly. When it comes to my cars, I am very picky and notice the smallest imperfections. They did a perfect job. No complaint... view mores here. I have recommended friends to EMCW and all have been super happy with their work, communication, and overall professionalism. My friend had his 2003.5 Lotus Esprit fixed by EMCW and he was very happy. Paint and body work looked better than new when he got the car back. I have spent multiple Corvettes to EMCW and all have been pleased with their service. If you`re looking for one of the best body shops in the country, look no further than European Motor Car Works. great job!

I was a victim of a hit and run. The right side of my car was hit pretty hard, you can only imagine how pissed off i was! From the first meeting to the day i got my car back, everyone there was friendly and knowledgeable. The work they did on my car was exceptional, it looks like it did on the show room floor. Definitely Not Recommended:

European keep a nice clean shop, but don`t be fooled... They were recommended by the insurance company and claimed to be experts at color-matching. These recommendations and claims were enough to persuade me to pay their inflated price. They then kept my Viper for over 30 days to repaint the front and rear bumpers, and charged me $4000 for the job. When they returned the car to me it was blatently obvious th... view moreat the paint on the bumpers did not match the rest of the car. When I complained, they stated that bumper paint never matches the rest of the car even when the car comes new from the factory. As if I would not have noticed this fact during the first two years I owned the car. They further stated that they had told me that the bumpers did not match and would not match after the job had been done. As if I would have agreed to pay them $4000 if any such statement had been made. When I asked to see any other car in their facility that exhibited the same color-varience on the bumpers, the owner clearly became irritated and overly defensive. He argued that "there was nothing he could do to change what had been done, but that he would re-do the job to make the bumpers match if I paid additional money". Such a remedy was obviously unsatisfactory in view of what had already been paid. I subsequently took the car to the Dodge dealer. They said that is was obvious that the wrong color of paint had been used. I filed a complaint with the BBB requesting that European return approximately $2000 which was what the dealer wanted to repaint the bumpers correctly. European refused to respond to the BBB. Do yourself a favor, avoid this shop.
