Very Nice People - Car works Good
It was a pleasure to deal with Brian. He was kind and took time to explain what I needed and how much it would cost, most of the other people I called where rude and acted like I was wasting their time. I also like the fact that he gave me a free tow in to the shop and a free check up. Other shops wanted to charge me just to tell me what was wrong with my car.
I had Budget rebuild my transmission and I have had n... view moreo problems.

Honest
A friend of mine went to Aamco and she was told that she needed a new transmission. I sent her to Budget for a FREE Check up and they did a trans service and shift selenoid and it fixed all her problems.

Stay away! These people are liars...
The car is a 1993 Acura Integra manual transmission.
Went through about 4 rebuilds (at Budget) before they just got a completely different tranny for my car and put it in. It still grinded going to 4th gear. I took the car back to them a couple more times with the new tranny and it STILL grinds 4th gear. I gave up on that.
I also paid them to put a new speedometer cable in the car. I bought an OEM cable from Ho... view morenda, gave them the part and trusted them to do it. 2 weeks later, when my speedo stopped working and my check engine light had come on, I popped the hood to see what was up. The OLD speedo cable was still there, and they had barely pushed it down into the speedo sensor. It had worked it`s way loose. What`s more, I discovered that my speedo sensor was just sitting loosely in the top of the tranny. Turns out they had broken the tab off where the bolt holds it in.
Most emphatically NOT RECOMMENDED. BE CAREFUL!!! Obviously, their mechanics are lazy and could care less about their work. They just want to hurry up and get done. Whether your car is fixed properly or not.
I called them about it, and the guy there said to bring it in and they`d look at it. But I`m done with those guys. Obviously, if I want anything done right, I have to do it myself. When this tranny dies, I`ll rebuild it myself. Until then, I have to double clutch 4th gear, and my speedo cable rattles up a storm.
AVOID THESE PEOPLE! They suck big time.
