SERVICE DEPT IS TERRIBLE!!! We bought a new 2007 Caliber there in 2006. We bought a 6 year warranty and all this extra care stuff that they will do for free. I brought the car in to the service dept in 2008 to have the $4,000 rims and tires that we bought with the car for a balance and rotate. I waited for about 2 hours and then someone came out and said they bent the front driver side rim and that they had to order... view more a new one. Come to find out, they discontinued our rims, so they said that there was 1 car left on the lot with our exact rims. So, I waited another 2 hours and finally someone comes out and says that they sold the car on the the lot and now we will have to order 4 new rims. They said they would pay for the rims, so I was cool with what happened, except for the fact that I had waited for 4 hours. So, a week goes by and they finally replaced the rims on the car. When we got the car, it pulled to the left and the steering wheel began to shake as soon as I hit 60 mphs. I took it back and they said nothing was wrong with it. After a couple days, I call back pissed asking to speak with my service rep, and he didn`t work there anymore and no one knew anything about my car. I tell them to check the computer, and all that is written is that they replaced the rims! So, I just drop it cause it is getting me nowhere. Today, I take it in to have my free oil change and I ask them to balance and rotate the tires, and check the transmission because it was shifting a bit weird. The rep says "ok that will be $150!!!! I was done! I told him to just give me my damn free oil change! DON`T GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!

Worst Car Buying Experience Ever

I went to Autowest looking for a truck. They tried to convince me that in this economy it was normal practice for dealers to ADD $5,000 on top of the sticker price... hello, trucks are not selling! I told them what the trucks were being sold for at other dealers and they told me that the trucks must be different! I explained that the other dealers were advertising $11,000 off on EVERY truck. I even told them they... view more could find the dealer advertisement in the newspaper. They told me they could reach my number match what the other dealers were doing. When they gave me their ""new and special price"" they took $8,000 off of their $5,000 overinflated price! Either their sales manager did not understand what I said, or lacked English comprehension skills or he was hoping I could not add! They wanted to appraise my trade as well... they told me my car was worth $4,000 less than low Kelly Blue Book... their offer was $7,000 less than the ""No Haggle"" dealer just outside the auto mall. When I told them that they said if they could not add markup to the car they could not use real Kelly Blue Book figures! I had to ask them for my keys 4 times before they brought them back to me! As soon as I got my keys I left. I will not be back there ever!
