Not a fan. I worked mainly with Jesse then Lori (bless her) have a few issues but will start with the car itself.
I got a car from here in October for my mom and after a day or two, it seemed like one thing or another was wrong with it, causing a lot of smoke. I kept taking it back to get fixed and it was always something or another they were working on. I would be told its fixed, get the car and the next time I tur... view moren it on, smoke. Again. This happened several times. The second to the last time, I got the car back with no oil in it, thank goodness the light came on and I checked the oil when I got gas since they always returned it to me on empty, even when I take it to them with 1/2-a full tank. Then I was told another person would work on my car since he was the new mechanic. Okay. Fine. I can wait but at this point I`m getting frustrated. Overall, it was 3 months AFTER I started making payments before I finally got my car. (I had asked the bank if I could just forget it a few times before since still haven`t received the car but no luck. I would be out of all the money I already paid since under a contract so I figured I`d just wait and be stuck. Joy.)
Next, the license plate. I was fine getting the little paper they put on the window thats good for 60 days while they sent off for the license plate. I was told they`d take everything & I`d have the plate within a week or so. After a month of asking, I was told that the place they bought the car from hasn`t sent the correct paperwork to their side yet. They were authorized to sell it but not take car of the paperwork so had to still wait. Didn`t make any sense to me but whatever. I figured I`d wait since I didn`t really have the car anyway. So, the 60 days came up and lucky since I was bringing the car back in for repairs anyway, asked again about the plate. I told Jesse and he said the tag is good for 90 days. Um no, the paper says 60. He offeredto give me ANOTHER TEMP tag and I just said no. The car is staying at the lot under the plates get on it, I`m not getting pulled over and dealing with that hassle. Eventually, got the tags. Joy.
Now to the registration. After finally having the registration in, my name was misspelled. Great. I asked if it`s something I could just fix (since I knew it may take awhile for them to) and was told only they can (I believe Fernando) but he`d do it right away and we`d get the correct paperwork in the mail within a week or two. I`m still waiting. It`s March and I bought the thing in October. 5 months to get paperwork? Really? Annoying to say the least. Anytime I ask for an update or to speak to someone, the correct people aren`t there but will get the message and call me. Never happens. I don`t think it helped that during all this time, I guess the company came under a new owner and was changed to "N Style Auto", which started issues with the bank. When I called to ask, I was told my loan was cancelled. Umm, what? I went to Chancellor livid and the very first question everyone asked, "Did you make your payment?" What the heck? Yes, I have a confirmation and everything. Turns out, when the name changed, it flagged my loan and no longer recognized the business under Chancellor as legit anymore. (& I`d be out of the payments since I was technically under contract at the time." Thankfully, Jesse called them and straightened it out and we were good to go.
Also, thank goodness for Lori. Anytime I talked to her, she made sure things were done so I`m very greatful for her since everyone else seemed to just give me the run around & excuses.
I`m not sure if it`s just my experience and I`m super unlucky. I really didn`t like that when I first got the paperwork for the car, there`s no grace period to test it. You can pay $750 to test it for a day r two and bring it back in case it doesn`t work (On top of the $1000 deposit I made). Be very careful before coming here.

I stopped in here after hitting 3 local car lots in Escondido. Ended up talking to a guy named Chuck, who ended up being the business manager. I told him what I needed (a safe reliable car with good gas mileage) and after walking the lot, we settled on a used Honda Civic. I never felt harassed or pushed to make the buy, and we did everything at my speed. Next time I will start here, and probably save myself a lot of ... view moretime.
