I can`t remember how long Rafi...

I can`t remember how long Rafi has been servicing and fixing my old MBZ 300D (pre turbo) and my fairly new BMW 330I. But both the cars and I were younger when I first drove into Auto Plaza -- which by the way is one of the cleanest businesses I`ve ever seen -- and the cars are running perfectly. It`s almost beyond belief today that anyone gets it right the first time, but the mechanics must know what they`re doing. I feel fortunate if there is a handful of people and businesses I trust. Or that I don`t distrust. I`ve never felt nervous or suspicious when I talk to Rafi -- I trust what he`s telling me is true. I trust his price is fair, which I couldn`t always say when I had my BMW serviced at the dealer. This is just my opinion, but I don`t believe Rafi does what he does JUST to make a buck. I hope he makes a nice living for his wife and kids, but I think a larger reason he does what he does is that he loves it. He loves working on cars. He completely rebuilt the automatic transmission in my 300D and told me he enjoyed doing it. I wouldn`t take a car to anyone else.

A Mechanic a Girl Can Trust

What is there to say? It`s the only place I would ever want to service my car. Rafi provides a level of personal service and honesty not found at any dealer, and I walk away happy every time. Especially as a woman, I find it comforting that he explains what needs to be done and goes above and beyond to make sure that everything is priced fairly. Better than any BMW dealer

Rafi has taken good care of both our BMWs for 5 years. The X5 has always leaked and used oil. The BMW dealer was not able to fix the problem and assured us the oil consumption was normal. Last year Rafi replaced the X5 engine seals. Since then the oil leaks have stopped and consumption is nearly zero. What a Relief - A mechanic I can rely on!

Best Mechanic in LA, hands down!

As anyone with an aging BMW, Mercedes Benz, or Volvo knows, ongoing care is required to maintain your vehicle and repair costs can get pricey. Again, I felt the shops were servicing themselves, not their customers. The truth is... I drive an expensive car, and don`t know the first thing about how it`s really put together. I had kind of given up on the idea that I`d ever leave a mechanic feeling like I understood what I paid for, and hadn`t been ripped off. Then I found Auto Plaza Radford Ave. Rafi is knowledgeable and professional; kind and conscious of all the concerns one has about bringing in a car in for servicing. He knows that there is a difference between a repair that must be done, and something that might come up in 10,000 miles, and will talk you through the most economical options. He`s always patient and knows that listening will help put you at ease, as well as help him diagnose the problem. As a long standing member of the community, Rafi treats all his customers like they`re friends - you walk away feeling like you got that ""friend price"" but you know the work is being done by a highly trained professional. EVERYTHING is above board. Rafi actually likes to show you the damaged or worn out part, so that you feel confident that that specific part really needs to be replaced. My Auto Savior!

I have been taking my BMW to Auto Plaza Radford Ave for almost ten years now. This is my second BMW, both which I have owned for over 25 years. Poor Results

Recently I purchased a car from an individual who had work done here on the rear end. Knowing I was taking the car out of state as soon as the repairs were done, an incomplete job was done in my opinion. The rear end is still WAY out of alignment.
