deliberate sabotage to gain additional revenue!
BUYER BEWARE!!! Eagle lube ruined one of my vehicle engines by shorting me on oil causing irreparable engine damage that required a complete engine rebuild! Not only that, but after my wife took her car in for an oil change, she was told that she had a small oil leak but not to worry about it because she could bring it back and they would just "top" it off for a small additional charge. When she came hom... view moree and told me this I immediately became suspicious since she parks her car in the garage on an outdoor carpet which had no oil spots whatsoever before the oil change. Well she parked outside when she came home and I noted the carpet the garage floor was still spot free but when i went outside I saw a fluid trail to where she had parked after just having come from the oil change. The car was now leaking like a sieve! I took her car to a trusted mechanic friend of mine who found the leak to be coming from the oil filter Eagle Lube had just replaced! Not only that but when he removed the filter he found an impression on the rubber filter gasket that in his opinion was consistent with someone gouging it with a flat head screwdriver! My mechanic stated there was no way that the guy changing the oil couldn`t have seen the leak was coming from the filter he just installed. Especially since he told my wife there was a "small" oil leak. I went back to the business and spoke to the owner who immediately became defensive and denied responsibility even after I showed him the obviously tampered with oil filter. He refused to give me a full refund. Whatever happened to customer service? This guy not only lost my business but also everyone that know. Take my advice and go to Fresno for quality oil change service and make sure you check your own oil level when you get home after the service. I`m filing a complaint with the BBB and the Automotive Board in addition to a possible lawsuit.
