Owner is crazy!
Ok I admit this guy Mike is crazy, he cusses a lot, he`s rude. One time my mother witnessed him screaming and yelling at his employees which is horrible. It reminds me of a white man with little Mexican slaves, the only difference they get paid, at least I hope! Another time my boyfriend asked the man how much to mount tires he gave us a price my boyfriend said it was a lil bit too expensive and mike replied, "W... view moreell I dont pay these guys in Coronas." But this guy patches tires for cheap and I haven`t had any problems with his work! If you go here leave ur kids behind, try your best not to anger this man, he literally goes crazy and not afraid to speak his mind even if its nothing but profanity. You must have thick skin to come here!

I`ve been a long term and satisfied customer of Mike`s for years until today.
I worked with owner Mike Cone over the last several days to locate the tires I wanted for my car. He was caustic at times with his advice and discounted my reasoning for wanting a particular tire for my vehicle. He seems to be saying that he knows tires but the customer`s wants and opinions mean nothin... view moreg. Fair enough. He`s been in business for years and his attitude is his own business.
To make a long story short, after finally locating the tires I needed and getting them a day after they were promised we took the car in to have the tires replaced.
We were there for two hours waiting for the tires to be installed and an alignment check performed. Mike`s staff removed our old tires and let them sit on the ground for over an hour while servicing customers who came in after we had. After finally getting the tire install on the road Mike asked if I wanted the alignment checked. I told him to go ahead. He assured me this was only a free check and not an actual alignment.
Nearly another hour goes by while this is taking place until one of his employees enters us the waiting room to tell us that an alignment is needed. I told that employee no, not today after which the employee left and another long wait began.
When the car was finally ready Mike Cone attempted to charge me for the tires and an alignment! I told him that we had told his employee that we did not want the work performed. My wife was with me and clearly heard me tell the employee no, not today. At that point Mike started to raise his voice and asked if he should "eat" the cost of the alignment. I repeatedly told him that we had told his employee (an English as a second language type) that I had declined the alignment.
Mike launched into demented tirade accusing me of "f......" with him for days then continued his rant with a slew of other profane language. He called the employee in question to the office to ask if I had declined the alignment. His (English as a second language) employee stated that I had authorized the work! Cone got louder and louder. I attempted to pay him for the work but he would not accept payment. He shouted that I should get out of his store and never come back. My wife attempted to pay him for the work and he would not accept her payment either. Cone then kicked me out of the store and repeated that I should never come back.
I have never in my life dealt with a business person as demented, deranged, and possibly dangerous as Mike Cone of Mike`s Tire Man. I did nothing to trigger his profanity laced outburst other than to call attention to the fact that he has an employee who either doesn`t understand English or the word no. In fact, I`m pretty sure no means the same in Spanish as it does in English.
Mike Cone is an elderly man, possibly afflicted with some form of dementia. He`s clearly not fully in charge of his business or his emotions and self control. My advice to anyone reading this review is to avoid doing business with Mike`s Tire Man.
One more thing. Mike apparently has a history of big game hunting and apparently lives part time in South Africa. This is a man who clearly should not be able to own firearms. His explosive hairtrigger temper and possible ownership of firearms here in the U.S are a bad combination that could be deadly.
Our afternoon at Mike`s Tire Man is one we`ll never forget.

I have been going to mike`s ti...
I have been going to mike`s tires for years. Yes, he is a bit eccentric, but a nice guy and he knows his business. When I shop for tires as I am right now. I checked Costco, Pep Boys and others... Mike has the best price. I know that I will end up at Mike`s and will always get the best deal there.

Good Guy
I have gone to Mike`s in the past, and just went this morning when my new used car tires started to rip. I always get what I need from this company and the employee`s all seem to know what they are doing. And reguarding other people`s post about the owner being crazy, I feel that is a False statement. The owner is a really nice guy however he might be a little outgoing and says whats on his mind which when your doing... view more business with people I feel that cutting out all the bull gets you the BEST Deal.
So I recommend going to Mikes when your looking for a good deal and you dont have mind being told the truth no matter how much it might hurt.

DON`T EVER GO HERE!
The short story: Mike (the owner) is insane and treats both his customers and his mechanics with complete contempt. My mother-in-law, wife and myself were treated this weekend to a profanity-laced tirade that could only be described as utterly shocking. There are way too many options in tires to tolerate this maniacs antics. Oh yeah, he`s also a crook.
The long story: My mother-in-law had a flat this weekend ... view moreon Mother`s day (Sunday) and the only place that was open was Mike`s tire (where she originally bought the tires). Turns out all the valve stems were cracked, which is typical for stems that are over 5 years old but she had just bought the tires a year ago and paid for new valve stems so it`s clear they weren`t replaced (even though she paid for them). She pulled the car up into the parking lot and went into the office to see someone about getting the tire fixed. Mike greeted her by literally pulling her by the arm into the shop and shouting "PULL THE CAR INTO THIS SPOT, OR THIS SPOT, OR THIS SPOT?ˆ¦" pointing to the open bays in the shop. After driving the car in (mind you the car had a bicycle wheel spare in place with the flat tire in the trunk), she popped the trunk and angry Mike came storming out of the office. My wife then says to him "the flat tire is in the trunk" to which he shouted "YEAH, I KNOW." The mechanic says to Mike "what do they need?". Mike replies (in broken spanish) "DON`T YOU HAVE EYES? FIX THE TIRE!" We waited patiently until the mechanic came back and found that all the valve stems were cracked. He quoted me $10 a piece which I thought was fair even though my mother-in-law had paid for them a year ago. After replacing all the valve stems I asked the mechanic "how can you put up with this guy (Mike)?" to which he replied "oh, we don`t pay any attention to him...he`s crazy." My mother-in-law and my wife then go into the office to pay. Mike shouts out "forty dollars!" My mother-in-law sets two twenties on the counter and simply inquires "is it still forty dollars even though I bought the tires here?" Angry Mike then shouts out "ALRIGHT THEN! NO CHARGE" then storms out of the office, goes to the car and starts riffling through the glove box (presumably looking for the paperwork on the tires that were purchased a year ago). I ask him what he thinks he`s doing and he steps out of the car and only then does he ask "do you mind if I look through the gove box?" At this point I`m convinced this guy is off his rocker and since there was no sensitive stuff in the glove box I give him consent (which frankly is ridiculous in hindsight). He finally gives up looking for the paperwork and heads back to the office, grabs my mother-in-law by the arm and starts shouting about the need to present proper paperwork. She leaves the office, gets in her car and pulls it out of the shop but I stayed behind to give angry Mike a piece of my mind because at this point I`ve about had it. I tell the idiot "you need to work on your ?^%$#@ customer service skills!" to which he responded with 10-minute profanity-laced tirade in front of all his customers. Tired of arguing with an insane idiot I walked away and gave him a well-deserved one finger salute and the idiot proceeded to follow me all the way to my car, continually shouting and challenging me to hit him. I certainly wanted to, but I?ˆ™m above that idiot?ˆ™s ridiculous behavior. Karma, my friend, is his worst enemy. DON?ˆ™T EVER GO TO MIKE?ˆ™S TIRE.
