PLEASE, SIMPLY A WASTE OF TIME and People
There wasn`t an option on here that allowed me to give the company ZERO stars. Which is odd. But for this company, giving them a star is extremely generous. I went in for a quote last weekend and I had to park my car right across the door of the building because there were so many cars in the lot that needed work. As i walked into the building, there was an argument going on that was escalating between two people. ... view moreIm guessing that it was a customer that wasn`t satisfied with their work. I had read the reviews on here but I figured that maybe things change, but they had not. My quote took 2 minutes from a guy that only took one picture of the damage and then immediately wanted my insurance information. I asked for paper work and the guy drew a blank. His phone rang and he had a 5 min long conversation with his ""baby momma"" (as he refferred to her several times) I was just amazed at how rude this was, so I left. As I drove away one the guys ran to my car and tapped the side of it to grab my attention. So i stopped and the guy asked me to come back in, and then offered a discount. So I did. We sat at the guys desk and he kept apoligizing, his phone rang again, and i waited again. When that was done, he wanted to show me some of their previous work that was on the company website. He clicked on the browser and first check his Facebook and Myspace accounts. And that where I just figured these were kids I was with. What a waste of time. I left and got the work done somewhere else. DONT waste your TIME HERE Thanks for providing these reviews Citysearch

WORST MISTAKE EVER!
Taking my car here was the worst mistake ever! I must admit that when I first read some of the reviews on here, I thought it seemed like a great place to take my car - i was dead WRONG! They ended up charging more than 30% over their estimate, took 1 week longer than they originally said it would take, and even after I picked up the car, it still had a major accident-related issue that they refused to fix!! The ow... view morener was completely RUDE and honestly - if you are a female - DO NOT go there alone. The shop workers stare, and one might even be balsy enough to comment on your legs like they did to me (I was dressed in a suit!). By far the worst service and results I have ever received. There are many other body shops in LA, i recommend this be a LAST resort.

These guys rock!!!!! Amazing work!! Excellent customer service!!
From the second I stepped in to their lobby I was greeted with smiles and care. (you don`t see that in to many repair places). The girl in the office was quick to help me with my claim, call a rental, get approval from my Insurance company. They even ask how many times I wanted to be updated through out the repair process. 2 weeks later I got a phone call saying my vehicle was ready to pickup or they could even deliv... view moreer it and pick up the rental thats what I call service, I told them I would pick it up myself so when I got thier and saw my vehicle I could not believe my eyes they even went the extra step to detail my vehicle in and out.. It looked like a mirror the paint was shinning, It looked like nothing ever happened. Custom Auto Craft Collision Centers you rock.... I even meet the legendary Arno everyone seems to talk about he out lives his reputation in so many ways. After this expirance I would never dare go any where else...

Terrific service and very professional staff!
From the time I walked into the shop, from the receptionist to the owner (great personality and level of professionalism!), to the time it took for the repairs in my car to be completed, I cannot say enough about how happy I am with the entire experience. The estimate was accurate, except I asked for additional work to be done to my car so certainly, I had to pay more. Overall, the prices were competitive and the s... view moreervice was truly great. I already recommended them to my entire circle of friends and family as I do to you as well.

Luckly only got a Quote, these guys are jokes
So I came on this site before I checked out this place for an estimate, i knew the posts that gave them 5-star-ratings were done by someone at their office, its obvious because they all mispell the same words lol (responsable). But I still went to give them an even opportunity. It wasn`t a waste of time because their estimate protocol only took like 2 minutes (that was fishy) and consisted solely of a camera and a gu... view morey with a pen on his ear. So here goes the story: When I turned into the customer parking lot at 8 a.m., there were no spaces available (fishy). I reasoned that those cars were actually work that they had not gotten around to because they are 1) lazy and disorganized, and also because 2) it was too early to have a packed lot 3) and because all those cars needed serious body work. So I went in to the office and they got the insurnace information, me and the guy went to take a look, he said that I should leave the car because ""its dangerous"" to drive around like that, the damage was obviously not as bad as he made it seem (you should have seen his facial expression; I knew he knew that I knew that I wasn`t buying it lol), he took pictures, and then walked away. I was amazed at how fast this occurred, he didn`t even give me a paper or a ball park range of the estimate. He just said that he would let the insurance know. I was driving home thinking ""would I trust Auto Craft with my car, my source of transportation?"" the answer was Hell No!
A week later the ins. company contacted me and said they needed me to take in my car in for an estimate. I said I already did, they said no you haven`t. The guys at Auto Craft must have not gotten around to sending the estimate to the insurance (I was not suprised). Two weeks later, I took my car to another place. That place called to see if they could use Auto Crafts`s estimate, but Auto Craft had still not submitted the estimate.
Take home message: don`t take your car here, unless you like to give away money

Nightmare
Avoid at all costs. Get quoted one price and then get charged another. Service itself is shoddy and a really gross dude tried hitting on me.

regarding stolen item
why would you leave your personal valuables in the vehicle after the shop asks you to remove all belongings from your car and makes you sighn that they are not responsable for any lost or stolen property. this shop is a very reputable shop its unfortune it that their are miserable people with no morals always wanting somthing for free, and makeing fale remarks to ruin peoples images. Custom Auto Craft has been aroun... view mored since 1984 and holds a reputable reputation It prouds me to know that people like that will not be coming back to this facility out of 250 cars they repair a month thier is always one miserable person.

Response to Custom Auto`s reply to my review
Let me start by saying that I have never written a review about a company until my experience with Custom Auto. When I found out that my ipod was missing from my glove box, I was for sure annoyed. I called custom auto to inform them about what happened. I understood the stolen items policy and I never asked for money, but as a business owner myself...I felt that it was necessary to let management know that after hou... view morers (or during work hours)people were robbing cars. I would like for someone at custom auto respond to why my Toyota emblem was taken from the back of my car? I never got a response to that.
