I brought our old buick wagon because the transmission was slipping all the time and I was worried the car would be stuck somewhere. I brought it in for a rebuild and left it there for a few days. The guys I dealt with were all very nice and took good car of me and the old car there!

Since the first time I went to...

Since the first time I went to Mission Viejo Transmission I have been impressed. Beyond the great service and feeling appreciated something to this day stands out as being my best experience. My sister was going away to school so my dad told us to get her car checked before her road trip to Arizona. We naturally took the car to Kevin and, not only did he check everything to make sure it was safe, but he went a step f... view moreurther. He asked my sister what she would do if she got a flat tire and had no cell phone service. You guessed it. He took over an hour to show her how to change her tire, BY HERSELF !!! He never touched anything but was right there to show her how to do it and encourage her. He also showed her how to check and add oil, coolant, power steering, brake, and transmission fluid. As she was washing her hands with a big proud smile on her face, Kevin walked up and gave her his card with his cell phone number on it and told her to call anytime day or night if she has a car problem. That was 8 years ago and my sister still has his card in her purse. On the back of the card he wrote &quot;I am proud of you, Good Luck in school !!!&quot; That is why I give Mission Viejo Transmission 5 stars !!! Our whole family will never take there cars anywhere else. Thank you Kevin.

Being in the auto repair busin...

Being in the auto repair business is the last thing that I thought I would be doing after graduating college. I knew I wanted to do something that was challenging, but also, something with the public. I knew I was a good listener, I knew I was compassionate, I knew I could be calm in the worst of circumstances, I knew that no matter what I did, that I would do it well and I would do it right. Through the last 31 year... view mores of being in this business I have met thousands of people. I have made lifelong friends, I have laughed and cried with customers, I have brought them dinner and groceries when I saw the need, I have visited them in hospitals and in rest homes, I have fund-raised for families, given away reliable vehicles, I installed an elevator in a house for a family with two boys with muscular dystrophy after raising over $28,000 to do it, and I have been the comfort to three customers/friends on the last days of their lives. I had the absolute honor of speaking at the funeral of Phil Stassi whom I can still see smiling so big his eyes would close. I would never have met Phil had it not been for running an auto repair shop. So, running a business, especially a family run business like Mission Viejo Transmission, is a gateway to the more important things in life. When I started this shop in 1990, my kids were just babies. They did all the things that kids do. I have a family just like you do. Knowing that the shop was an important job, I took it seriously and have been rewarded by meeting the best people ever. I know what it is like to run a household, I know what it is like to struggle, I know what it is like to sweat out expenses, I know what it is like to be treated fairly, but, most of all, I know what it is like to feel good about doing business with someone who cares about you. Reliable repair.

I found this place a while back and I?ˆ™m glad I did. When I had transmission trouble I brought it here for repair. The work was done in the time I was quoted. That was important since I need my car for work. It was back to me in a day and I was on my way.

They replaced the transmission...

They replaced the transmission in my Toyota for $1,000 less than another shop wanted to charge me!!!! They are great, especially Kevin. Thank you MV Transmission!

Quality Work

I have used Mission Viejo Transmission 4 times, including transmission work, my brakes and ac repaired, and they have even given my vehicle regular tune-ups. The quality of their work is fine and their pricing is great!
