Best smog place in SD

Ron and Mark are the best hands down in SD and that is just the plain truth. If you need a smog go there I always do so do all of my tenants(I manage an apartment complex) I refer them to all my friends and family. Thanks you guys and keep up the good work

Best service ever.

I took my car here to get smogged after receiving a promotional advertisement rate. I failed due to my readiness sensors not being ready and my emissions were also a little high. Ron gave me some tips on how to mitigate the emissions that were high, and how to get my readiness sensors ""ready"". He told me to come back for a FREE re-test. I came back after taking his advice, and I passed smog with flying colors (ever... view morey category I was way below the state emissions average). Ron was really down to earth. He didn`t have to give me advice, or offer me a free retest (since I had a promotional rate), but he still did. Now thats customer service worth paying for.

Best Smog Shop I`ve ever used

Discount Smog Center is by far the best smog shop I`ve ver used. They are prompt and very affordable. When they came across a trouble code, on one of the 3 cars they smog for me, they were very informative and coached me through the process of replacing a faulty switch. They also made a very good referral to a local auto repair shop. I am impressed with their professionalism and availability. Don`t settle for second best

I could not agree more with cybergal. I have used Discount Smog for several years and have never paid more than $39.95. I have never waited more 20 min. to have the check completed, usually on a Saturday, and have never needed an appointment. The staff is friendly, the shop and waiting area are always clean. If you`re thinking about using one of the coupons in the pennysaver, the $29.95 special will end up costing... view more anywhere from $50.00 to $70.00 after they add certificate fees , transmission fees, and a whole bunch of other nonsense you shouldn`t be paying for.

Great customer service....clean waiting area....

I`ve had many experiences smogging vehicles in California and have dreaded getting it done each time until I was referred to this station by another garage who was ""too busy"" to handle a quick smog test. THANK YOU BOND`S AUTOMOTIVE FOR THE REFERRAL!!! I went to this place on a Saturday morning around 10:00 am and there was no wait. There was no one waiting before me so they got me right in. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The building and wait area was clean and air conditioned. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and the smog test only cost me $39.95. (Regular rate, no special discount) I was very impressed with the customer service I received here.

I hope this shop is still around when it`s time for our next smog. Good customer service is falling by the wayside here in San Diego. I hate having to pay more money for crappy service. The last smog station I used charged me almost $65.00 and had those of us waiting sit out in a hot parking lot in $5.00 plastic lawn chairs next to a busy street in the blazing sun. Top that off with severe attitude problems of the staff....
Normally, I would have left under those circumstances, but EVERY place I went to that Saturday had a ton of people trying to get smogged or they weren`t doing smog tests because their garages were backed up for repair work. Too bad I didn`t know about this place sooner....
