I took my car there for an oil leak and asked them to change the oil plug. They changed the plug and made the leak much worse in the process.My car went from leaking a quart every month or two to leaking two quarts in a week. Upon checking the plug it was easy to see oil dripping out of it every few seconds. When I tried to tighten the plug it spun without getting tighter and I had a similar result when I tried to re... view moremove it. In short they did work on my car that made it much worse when it left than when it came in, charged me for it and let me drive away without any warning. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

My mechanic knew more.

I was driving my RV from Florida to CA and had sporadic problems with the RV generator and electric drainage. Pulled into MasterTech and was required to have a two hour analysis at $75 per hour. Then four hours of work for a bill total over $300. Drove six miles up the road, tested the generator and had the same problem. Took it back. They found different problems for an additional $145. Took it up th... view moree road, got gas and checked the gen. It worked fine until I got about 250 miles away and it failed again. Took it to Campers Corral in Red Bluff and a mechanic there told me I had to have more than a half tank of gas for operation. On that tip it worked every time I used it. Why didn`t the so-called " MasterTech" know that? The same Red Bluff mechanic told me that when I had my new radio installed, the installer removed the inverter connection causing electrical loss. Why didn`t the "MasterTech" know that? MasterTech is overrated and overpriced. The $150 "analysis" told them nothing except that they had a trusting sucker. They do not act as I would expect a Good Sam user to act and certainly not in the spirit of RVers who act in good faith and honesty.
