POWER VOLVO GM RON VARTANIAN IGNORESREQUEST FOR RECORDS
As a customer of power volvo, i have asked for my service records, because they show i had service, and then blew my engine because the temperature gauge on the dashboard was NOT reading correctly, warning me of over heating and the engine blew. THEY OWE ME $3,000 for the new engine their mis-diagnosis cost me.
Resolution Sought: VOLVO IS GOING TO PAY FOR A NEW ENGINE.
And why would i EVER shop at volvo again?

Power VOLVO Ron Vartanian GM won`t send me my service records?! After spending thousands - - because they know they messed up. My dash temp gauge never showed over heating and i blew my engine. I`ve asked for the records and get calls from Volvo north America`s Executive Complaint office from CEO DOUG SPECK at 201 768 7300 ext. 1994 ask for ERIICA. They stone wall and say `there is no further review process"! LIKE THEY CAN STOP BAD PR?! What morons... Save your money . . and find a NON AUTONATION FRANCHISE.... an independant Volvo owned store.. OTHERWISE . . pay the highest prices.

Leaniing towards the downward spectrum...
So, I bought an XC90 last saturday. Its now a week later, Monday. I took it in on thursday to get Perma Plated. I brought it in at 3pm. Picked it up at 4pm the next day and found a deep gauge on the driver`s door handle. I also noticed what seemed like paint smudges over a clear finish. I alerted the lady inside who was helping me, Lori, and she came out to speak to the detail guy. They spoke for a while and then she ... view morecame back to me and said since I bought a Certifed Pre-Owned car there was nothing for them to do about it. They couldnt fix it. They did not deny doing this to my car, but just simply said they could fix the situation by giving me some touch-up paint to go home with.
WOW! so I could fix it myself! Also, I would like to add that the vechile has an 11 month warranty on it, AND I purchased the extended warranty which the fleet sales manager, Bob, and another employee stressed to me would both make this vechile covered from BUMPER TO BUMPER. Apparently this is not the case.
Now, the fleet manager. Bob, was extremely nice and personable. He wasn`t pushy or rude. I did enjoy him, although as far as the Service department... this is NOT how you treat your customers... and this experience is begining to override the experience I had concerning Bob.
When I got home, 3 hours later the car started giving me warning signs that my gas cap was open or loose and the gas door was open or loose. Then an hour after that I was prompted with another warning sign stating that my right low beam was having failure. It then proceeded to go out on me, then turn back on a couple of seconds later.
WHAT DID THEY DO TO MY CAR?!
Now, I have to bring it in again. I wish there was a more reliable place to bring my vechile too.... I wish, I wish....

Unprofessional dealership
When I first starting looking to purchase, I went into Irvine Volvo. The salesman actually "locked" me in a room to get his manager to close the deal. I was so pissed I left and purchaed at another dealership.
Giving Volvo Irvine a second chance, I tried to call for a service appointment. Couldn`t get anyone to answer a phone.
Gave Volvo Irvine a third chance, I left a message with service to call... view more so I can schedule for an appointment. I got a call 3 days later. I had already received my service at another dealership
Recently, I my husband brought the car in for service. He called for an appt and was told he did not need one for oil service. He was the first in line and the service advisor basically said my husband was a liar and that everyone needs an appointment for service. The service advisor "skipped" over my husband and proceed to help everyone else. My husband raised a stink and finally got taken care of.
When my husband went to pickup the car, the service advisor told him he was sorry and that a questionnaire was coming his way regarding the service he received. The service advisor told him he hoped that my husband would not hold the earlier incident "against" him when the questionnaire came.
The way this dealership handles and treats people comes from the top. Top management is doing a poor job of training and hiring the people that run their business. This tells me Power Irvine doesn`t care about retaining customers. They don`t care about anything or anyone. They don`t know the fundamentals of running a successful business. It`s ashame that this dealership is in business. I would never go back or recommend this dealership to anyone.
