This shop has had my Honda Civ...

This shop has had my Honda Civic for over 3 weeks now for a simple engine swap. The first week I called them every day and asked for the status of the new engine that they had ordered and was told every day that it should be arriving that day. At the end of that week I got a phone call telling me that the shop they had purchased the engine from had sold it and they had to find me a new one, which tells me that for ... view moreevery day I called, they didn`t contact the shop with my engine. The second week they finally found an engine on Wednesday but didn`t put my car on a lift until the following Monday, telling me that my car should be ready by today Friday the 22nd. I called them yesterday (Thursday the 21st) and was told that my car shouldn`t be ready until next week. This shop has screwed me over at every turn, I have never dealt with an auto shop with customer service like this and plan on reporting them to the BBB. You only get one star because there isn`t an option for no stars. If you want your car back in a timely fashion DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. Update: I received a call on Friday the 22nd at 4:30 telling me my car was ready for pick up, and was able to pick it up on Saturday. The quality of work is good, although I`ve had to pull a few tags off of new parts that were installed. I was also called every day this week to be asked to take down my reviews.

Great customer service

Some years ago I lost my trusted mechanic, as he moved out of the area. In the interim, I`ve bounced around between chain stores and the dealership near where I work. Recently, my check-engine light was coming on intermittently on my Camry, and I had been told that the code meant my catalytic converter was going out and would need to be replaced -- to the tune of $650. I decided to do a little checking online, an... view mored I found several forums where folks had posted that it isn`t always the catalytic converter that is out when that happens on a Camry. It could be something else. I looked for reviews on local car-repair shops and found Fullerton Automotive Clinic. What a fabulous find! I took my car in this morning to see what they said, and I think I`ve found my new trusted mechanic. In my case, it turned out NOT to be the cat, it was the air sensors that needed replacing, at a much lower cost than replacing the catalytic converter. Myrna, in the front office, was such a pleasure to deal with, and she even came to pick me up when the car was ready. I was just about ready to call a taxi, when she offered to come get me. What great customer service! The repair was done timely, at a fair price, and with a smile. If you`re looking for a mechanic, I would have to say that the glowing reviews they`ve received are well-deserved, based on my initial experience with them. I will be taking my car to them for future repairs, and I expect that I will continue to be just as happy then as I am now.

LOOK NO FURTHER!

It`s hard to find a mechanic you like and trust... especially when you live a few hundred miles away! My son attends CSUF and found himself with a blown AC Compressor and snapped AC and alternator belts on his Acura TL... which lead him to being towed home from the airport. As soon as Myrna answered the phone, I was grateful for trusting the glowing reviews I read! She immediately put my mind at ease. Within minutes, my son`s car was towed to the shop. Knowing he needed his car for school and work, Myrna made sure the service crew diagnosed and resolved the problems quickly and efficiently... not a penny more than Myrna quoted and faster than the allotted time! Since one of the car doors was badly dented, I asked Myrna to give me a quote on repair. She quickly got back to me, trying to save us money. She found the exact same door at the salvage yard and they replaced it the next day. Myrna worked around my son`s schedule and pick him up at his apartment. Myrna`s son, who also attended CSUF, was just as friendly and gave my son valuable pointers on professors and classes. Myrna and the crew were nice, trustworthy and efficient! Like I said... Great Service, Honest and Very Good People

Fullerton Auto Repair Clinic is the absolute best. What a professional operation. I?ˆ™ve dented my new car last November and they fixed it promptly and the work was perfect. Highly knowledgeable and truly honest

I had two visits and was extremely impressed. For the first visit, Jim gave a quick diagnosis of ?ˆ?check engine light on?ˆ? problem and explained so well. Unlike most dealers who simply tell you to change the catalytic converter, which is truly waste of money, I have already got bad experience on that. I came to Jim as a service advisor at a Toyota dealer suggested to change the starter, which will cost $300. Jim?ˆ™s people tightened battery cables and got the problem fixed. They did not charge a dim.

NO NONSENCE

I was in a very small accident in the parking lot of our favorite movie theatre. I decided to use my insurance instead of the pearsons who hit me because i didn`t want to play the waiting game. Honest shop

I went to these guys about 4 times. They are very honest, accidentally broke something gave me a call and fixed it the next day. They do good work, but forget to do the little things at the end. FOr example my friends car had 2 screws over tightened on the bumper which broke the plastic housing it should have been in. No big deal, but a inconvenience. My car had a missing securing clip which made the dash rattle e... view morexcessively (fixed myself). They are far from a performance type of shop. Good prices. But the work only gets done RIGHT when you do it yourself.

Excellent shop for auto repair

I am new to the area and was looking for a reliable auto repair place. A number of colleagues at work referred me to this shop. I have taken both my vehicles there for repair work. I found there charges reasonable and the staff is very courteous. The fact that it is family run business definite adds a personal touch to their customer service. They were prompt in dropping me off to my work and picking me up in the eve... view morening while they worked on the vehicles. They were so nice to even open the shop on a Sunday to give me the delivery of the vehicle.
