Tozzi`s has been in business for over 20 years because they are fair and honest

I was shocked to see the previous review. Mike treats all his customers with respect and charges appropriately from what I`ve seen over the many years of him and his shop servicing my cars and trucks. What the previous review does not mention is what it takes to have the knowledge to put the parts on, fix the problem, then assemble the parts in the proper manner. Certain makes and models of cars make certain parts... view more harder to get to...change the transmission on a new VW Bug and its about 2x the labor rate as a normal car. Mike has ran his business fair and honest and that is why he still has too much business on a daily basis. Females and people of all kinds should feel comfortable in knowing they`ll be treated fair and honest.

Women, be warned!

I took my car to Tozzi`s and I was overcharged by approxamitly $140.00 for a part. I know this for a fact because aftter I spoke to a friend he told me that I should call Kragen and see if the part really cost that much money. Kragen had the same exact part with the same exact warrenty for $140 dollars less than I was charged (we all know that the shops get their parts at a discounted price). I was also charged for 3... view more hours labor and I know for a fact that it does not take that long (now). I actually took my vehicle in somewhere else and got an estimate (which cost me $45) because I wanted to know if I had been taken advantage of. This way I knew wether I could take my vehicle there again. This was a minor repair and should not have cost me over $400... instead I left paying about $600 (ugh). When I left Tozzi`s Instead of having the one issue I went in for, I left with two other issues. My air conditioner worked fine before I took my vehicle in. When I picked it up, I had a hole in one of the hoses and my air conditioner no longer worked. I also had a chip go out in my car`s computer the day after I picked my vehicle up. When I would call to check on my car (because they were telling me I had all of these issues going on), they were short with me and treated me like I was bothering them. I felt really dooped after everything was said and done. The only good thing I can say about the situation is this; they had my vehicle back to me in a timely manner. Just a warning!
