I do not understand what these...
I do not understand what these people are talking about when they say Mr Bs Iron and Metal is not a good company. I have been there many times and the employees are as nice as can be. They do not sell car parts. They are a metal recycler nor are they a towing company so perhaps these people should contact the correct company for the services they need. I will continue to take my recyclables to Mr Bs and I hope many o... view moref other people will too these people work very hard in all kinds of weather. Rain, sleet, snow and even in over 100 degree heat. In my opinion they deserve a reward for offering a needed service to the community!!!

HORRIBLE SERVICE
I purchased a transimission from Mr. B on November 22, 2008. From my understanding, the transimission was identical to mine. About a week and a half later, we realized that the transmissions were indeed different. Although they look identical, the transmission that I purchased from him was for a 5.4 liter motor and my vehicle is actually is a 4.6 liter. Becuase of this difference, we had a few problems, First, this c... view moreaused the gear ratio to be off temendously, Second, the transmissions screens was completely different (the new one that I purchased to go in the transmission was completely different. Third, after checking with a professional transmission installer, we realized that the transmission that was sold to us took a total different oil becuase of the different motors. Finally, once the transmission was inserted and aligned, the bolts were entirely different, they were huge and would not fit correctly. ONce this was all explained to Mr. B, we made the hour drive to Texarkana to return the transmission and get a refund but he was persistant on letting me know that he would not give us our money back. We`ve already paid $300.00 to have it installed. Had to pay another $150.00 for it to be taken back out and then we ended up losing $433.00 on the transmission that we purchased from him. Even after all the facts were presented to him, he still refused to give!
None the less, we took what he told us was our original transmission and brought it home. Once we got home, we realized that we had been screwed once again as the man purposely gave us another transmission.
This man was very inconsiderate and mean. I think his customer service was just horrible. My advise to anyone, please be very weary of this business as they`re not looking out for the best interest of their customers. They`re running a really horrible business and my advise would to be to go to someone else in the area!
Thanks!
