Great and honest service. I called looking to get a quote for a transmission rebuild. The owner took a couple of minutes to ask me a couple of questions regarding the issue. He told me it might not need a full rebuild. I was a bit skeptical, but I brought it in. To my delight and surprise, a woman called me to tell me my vehicle was ready and done. Only two days later. They Took How Long

I brought my Hyundai Tiburon to there shop. It was missing really bad. They found 7 batteries in my gas tank. They said I needed new fuel lines and engine. This was late August. I filed an insurance claim and insurance was going topy for it. They refused to start work before they received the check from insurance even though the adjuster verified it was being made out and mailed to the shop. So they finally began wor... view morek aroind the 14th so I thought. I have been calling, them repeatley and they kept telling me dates that it would be finished. Its now October 12th and they now are telling me they receivedthe wrongengine, might I add a week and a half ago they said the engine was ready and all they needed were the fuel lines which they also stated was wrong. Stay away from these guys if possible they offered no compensastion orable to provide me with a replacement car while I wait. They lie about progress and don`t seem to care.

I still NEED a transmission shop to TRUST

I`ve got a 2000 Explorer and took it to Benton Transmission last Tuesday, Sept 28. Chris told me, ""we`ll take the pan off, check it out, if it looks good, we`ll just do a total flush. This should take care of it, those filters get clogged up all the time and cause slipping and shifting not to happen."" I left it with them. Picked it up the next day, paid $140. He said the pan looked good so they just did a to... view moretal system flush. All was good, until Saturday, three days later. Same issues that I had told him about prior. Called them while on the way to work today, Explorer wouldn`t go in to Reverse for several minutes when trying to leave my home and never shifted into third the whole way in. Talked with Chris again. He said, ""bring it in and we`ll hook it up to the computer, sounds like a clutch might be slipping...and if that`s the case it could be in the range of $1,200 to do a rebuild."" I asked about having some credit toward future work done since the method they suggested didn`t fix the problem, he said, ""no, we don`t do that, we give you options on fixing and that`s just a risk, besides, it sounds like it fixed it for a little while."" I`m sorry but THREE days is hardly a fix. As well, there were no options given to me. Today, he suggested that I bring it in and they hook it up to a computer and they could see what`s wrong with it. My question is...WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU NOT HAVE HOOKED IT UP TO THE COMPUTER IN THE FIRST PLACE??? Definitely not going back to them while they exhibit this form of customer service.

I have been doing business with Benton Transmission for well over 10 years and I have had nothing less than an awesome experience on every visit. I own 9 vehicles and at some point Bill and his boys have worked on everything from my 1969 Jeep CJ, 1975 Cadillac ElDorado to my 2004 Z06! The best service anywhere... Hands down!

Great service

I overheated my transmission while moving from Texas. It got hot enough to blow the fluid out of the vent. These nice folks didn`t try to take advantage of me, just changed the fluid and filter as needed and gave me some good advice. This is a fair and honest business.
