I have an older truck so thing...
I have an older truck so things are bound to break down and CnR is the closest shop to me but i will never be going to them again. My truck was running fine all day, when i got off of work, i went to start my car and it continually cranked but never fully started. I tried many to things to fix it to no avail. I was towed to CnR and they took a look at it, they called me about 4 hours later saying that I needed a n... view moreew fuel pump but it would cost $1,100 (which I knew was overpriced already) they then told me they could give it a temporary fix which would cost $160 which I had no choice to do so i did it. When i went out to my truck to start it, it would still continually crank without starting. I went back inside to tell them it still wouldn`t start, they then told me that i needed to try 15-20 times before it would start. I went back outside to do so and tried it about 30 times and stil wouldn`t start. Went back inside and they said i had to turn the key on and off 4 times then try and start it, I went out and tried this and it still wouldnt start. I went back inside and just asked if there was someone who could just come out and start it for me. As I was waiting for someone to come out, one of the workers started giving me a hard time about not getting a fuel pump and i told him that they were overcharging me and he told me that it was the cheapest fuel pump that I could find. I then immedietly went on my phone and found a fuel pump for $175 and showed him and he then began to raise his voice at me saying that I dont know what im doing and that Ill be back when my car breaks down again. I then left and went out to my car to wait for the guy. The man then opened up the hood and sprayed ignition fluid in my engine then took about 5 minutes to get the truck started . I got home and my dad called his friend to take a look at my truck and after a few minutes of looking he detremined that the problem was that a rubber hose than ran to the gas tank. It cosT $14 and 20 minutes to do a job that they wanted $1,100 to do. I WILL NEVER GO TO CNR TIRE AGAIN!

On my first trip to C & R tire...
On my first trip to C & R tire shop in Anthem Arizona, I was pleased since I was about to get the service that I wanted and at the price they originally quoted. They got me in and out fairly quickly, which was pleasing. However, that?ˆ™s about the end of the praises for this shop. I found that they sprayed grease all over the entire drivers side front hub cap. This took quite a bit of scrubbing to get off. Th... view moreat?ˆ™s the slightest of the issues. The next weekend I changed my brakes and found out that the C & R tire tech. cross threaded one of my lug nuts which caused my stud to break off. I called them and explained the issue and they said just bring it in and they?ˆ™ll fix it. So, I had to drive another 36 minutes one way to get something fixed that should never have been broken. Later that day I found out that they did not prepare for my arrival when I found out they did not have a matching lug nut for my make and model (mind you, they had a week to get one since I called ahead). Finally, here is the best part of my Saturday trip to an inadequate tire shop to fix the lug nut they broke. When the extremely dirty mechanic started heading to my car (without any floor mats or seat covers) he pushed the key remote to unlock the door, but then stopped to talk to someone in the parking lot for so long that the car re-locked its doors. Once he was done talking, he snatched up on the locked door handle so hard (thinking it was unlocked) that he broke the handle off. Then the floor sales person asked me a very unintelligent question; ?ˆ?Is there some trick to opening your door??ˆ? I told him, this is the second thing on my car that you guys have broken. He then gave me attitude about how the door must have been ready to break off anyway and it would have happened eventually. He was seriously arguing with a customer trying to rationalize why it was his civic duty to expose things on my car that are ready to break, I should be thanking him! What a complete jerk. Not only did this guy have a heap of indignation, but never once, not for the broken lug nut, the dirty mechanic sitting in my clean seats, the grease sprayed all over my hub cap, or the broken door handle, did this jerk ever say he was SORRY! No offer for refunds, gift cards, reduced service (not that I would have taken that), but nothing. Great example of how to run a business into the ground!
