Reggie @ Chandler Audio Express was GREAT!!!
I had a new radio/CD/BT installed in my van today. Reggie was very helpful and prompt. he even gave me a ride to the gym and called me sooner than expected to let me know it was done. I thought the price was very reasonable, especially after I had spoken with the Toyota dealership. I would highly recommend using this store. My only interaction was with Reggie and I thought he did a great job.

Con Artists
Be very careful. I didn`t do my due diligence by shopping around and they took me to the cleaners. I felt they cleaned out my wallet afterwards and then I checked out Best Buy and others and found out the alarm would have cost me only $235 dollars there. Audio Express DID NOT stand by their original quote and added extra installation charges to the $1 install they advertise and added parts I did not need. I ended... view more up paying over $100 more there than anywhere else with the additional charges. I fought with them over these added charges to no avail.

Terrible Experience! Nothing Express about it!
My old car stereo stopped playing CDs so it was time to buy a new stereo. Wanted one that was iPod compatible. Salesman said no problem and suggested one he thought was best. My first mistake was I trusted him because he seemed knowledgeable. He said that it would only take a couple hours to install. I was there at 9:00 am and had to leave for work at 2:00. No problem, right?? At 2:00 when I had to leave for work he ... view morecame to me and said everything was done except there was one small problem. They forgot to reconnect the radio antenna. He said I could listen to CDs on the way to work but not the radio. I would have to bring the car back tomorrow so they could take everything back apart and connect the antenna. Again I was there at 9:00 am and again it wasn`t finished until 2:00. I noticed two things after this visit; a) the antenna no longer went down when you turned the car or radio off like it was supposed to and b) they had completely cracked the plastic trim around the radio. I called and was told to bring it back again and they would get the antenna working properly and would have to order and replace the trim around the radio. So, on my third visit to fix the antenna I was told to get it to work like it originally did would take a lot of extra wiring and labor but they would comp that to me because of all the other problems. How generous of them as I am now on 15 hours of install time!!!. My fourth trip was to have the radio trim replaced when it came in from being special ordered. Also, my iPod didn`t work so when I asked about that I was told my iPod was an older version and I would need to buy a converter or a new 5th generation or higher iPod. Not a mention of this possibility at the time of the sale! I was way past done at this point. At the end of all this, the antenna still doesn`t work properly and the lights in the shifter console haven`t worked since the install. DO NOT GO THERE!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

$1.00 install not worth it.
I went too audio express this past weekend, bought me a stereo for about $170.00. without shopping around first, and i seen the same stereo at best buy for $119.00. why do they charge so much? is it because of the so called $1.00 install? but i installed it myself. now i`m kicking myself for it. never going to Audio Express again!!!!

Untrustworthy, slow yet clean installation, idiotic staff.
I recently had two pairs of speakers (front and back), a six channel amp, and a subwoofer installed in my toyota matrix. Initially the staff seemed friendly enough, but what I didn`t appreciate was them busting my chops because I didn`t want to buy an alarm at the same time they did the installation. Their installation prices are reasonable, the reason is that you cannot trust these people. Despite the better judg... view morement of my friends, I decided to trust Audio Express. When I took the car in, I already had all the door panels off, the factory speakers removed, and the rca`s ran to the back of the car. Because of this I was told the installation of the speakers and everything else would be done by the end of the business day (I dropped off the car at 9:00am). Alas, come 6:30pm I got a call saying that the installation had taken longer than they had thought it would and there was a pinched wire and that they would deduct some of the labor and not charge me for the parts. Keep in mind that I had pre-paid for the installation. They told me that they needed to keep the car overnight. At that point I was mad, and worried. Despite it all I tried to keep my cool. Come the next day they said it would be done by 11:00am. So I called them at 11:00, they said, ""oh yeah, we`re all done, we just need to know where you want the amp installed"" So I told them and they said it would take another hour. An hour later, they asked me the same question again!! So they needed another hour. An hour later, ""oh, they`re just doing finishing touches"", I didn`t end up getting my car until 4:00 the second day. And what`s better you ask? They ""tuned"" the stereo. If by tuned you mean not noticing that there was no sound coming out of the front right speaker because the amp had a bad channel, then yeah, they tuned it. The only credit I give them is that the installation was clean. Bottom line? Too much trouble. They`ll tell you what you want to hear to get your money. bad mojo
