STAY AWAY IF YOU?ˆ™RE BLACK, FEMALE OR GAY On Saturday, August 24th, 2013 my partner and I identified a vehicle that we really liked, an F-150. He is a full time student and I?ˆ™m employed in social services. Anyway, after some negotiating, my partner wasn?ˆ™t able to get approval for the automobile with the amount that we could put down. So, we thanked the Camelback Ford dealership for their time, and we left. On Sunday, ... view moreAugust 25th, 2013 my partner received a call stating that Camelback Ford was able to find financing for the F-150 we identified we liked. When we arrived, the Camelback Ford dealership offered the financing we needed, but THEY CHANGED THE TRUCK. They didn?ˆ™t think the two gay guys would mind paying for a truck they didn?ˆ™t want. When we conveyed our unhappiness, we were patronized and the correct truck was put in front of us. When this occurred, the Sales Manager (Matt Noland) changed the terms of the deal. We were asked for $3k down with a payment of more than $150 above our budget. At this point, we didn?ˆ™t know what to do. My partner and I weighted the options and decided that, since we have parents with failing health and would need this vehicle, to suck it up and take this deal. These bigots made us wait for 2 and a half hours while they made sure their ducks were in a row. Then, we took delivery of my partner?ˆ™s new F-150 truck. To get to this point was horrible. We felt the stares of the staff and other patrons as we struggled to get to this deal. We were glad we were successful and could get away from the breeding haters. Unfortunately, the tail doesn?ˆ™t stop here. This afternoon, after having the F-150 for only 18 hours, my partner received a call requesting another $5k down or he would be required to return the truck. They felt he could not make the payments. What had changed in 18 hours? We agreed to their terms but they felt someone gay and `single` (even thou we`ve been together 11 years) couldn?ˆ™t make payments with an occupation of ?ˆ?student?ˆ™. Needless to say our anger was at a boiling point. We returned the F-150, shared our disgust for their bigotry, and left. This was the sad ending to our experience with Camelback Ford?ˆ¦after purchasing 6 vehicles in the last 10 years from them. The morale of the story?ˆ¦If you?ˆ™re black, a single woman or gay?ˆ¦or any other minority...stay away from Camelback Ford.

Dont go there!, They will lie ...
Dont go there!, They will lie to you and tell you whatever it takes to get you to sign on the dotted line. They sell broken unsafe vehicles. They lie about warranties, They run and hide when you go down there to get them to fix the problem. They pass the buck and blame each other for the lies. They stand around and look stupid saying "I dont know why they wont fix your car, that`s not right" but nobody does... view more anything. They lie to the authorities and keep the lies going so they dont have to do anything except take your money. I`m telling you, dont go there they do not care about their product, their warranty, their employees, and most definately not about you, the customer. They only want to make a buck then then they walk the other way and play stupid.

DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!
Terrible!!! Do not go there! They sell broken cars that are unsafe to drive but during the sales pitch they keep telling you not to worry becuse the vehicle is covered by a 15 Day/500 Mile warranty and that if anything is wrong they will fix it because they have to within that time frame. But...I brought my vehicle back to them with 48 hours because it had broken struts and motor mounts and was completely unsafe to d... view morerive. They took my car saying they would fix it but kept if for 11 days then returned it saying they wont fix anything because it was a ""budget value sale"". Then the games begin. They lie to the me, the BBB and the Attorney General. They wont return anybodys calls and when you do get someone on the phone they just say they dont know why it did not get fixed and pass the buck but still do nothing to resolve the problem. They just keep telling lies and ignoring me. It`s not worth the headache, go somewhere else. They will just rip you off because they are only interested in making the sale. They could care less about their customers or product or even their reputation. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

If you don`t want to be taken ...
If you don`t want to be taken advantage of and ripped off, use another dealer. I am a 22 year old female and wanted to buy my first car by myself, big mistake, they took advantage at every turn. They tried changing the sale price after we had agreed on a price, they changed the trade in price of my other vehicle after we had agreed on that and tried to sell me $3,500 in extra warranty that I didn`t ask for or want. T... view morehey don`t take NO for an answer and then get angry at you. Very miserable experience!!!!

LET THE GAMES BEGIN !
Walking into this dealership one can almost hear the phrase `Let the Games Begin` announced over the speaker system. After receiving an affirmative response to a simple email identifying the vehicle being sought, expected trade-in value and maximum affordable purchase price, I arrived at the dealership expecting to have my trade-in appraised and to discuss the next steps for completing the purchase. Met by the smilin... view moreg internet salesman, he stated that the desired vehicle had been located at one of their out of state dealerships and that it might take a week or two to arrange for its transfer. Since time was not a factor, I left the dealership expecting that I would be contacted in week or so once the truck had arrived. One week later after several fruitless phone and email attempts to receive an update, I returned to the dealership in person. I commented about the lack of communication and questioned if the vehicle was still available. The salesman assured me that transport was being arranged and that it wouldn`t be much longer. After leaving with reasonable doubts concerning the sincerity of the salesman and the sales manager`s statements, another week passed by without any contact. Most dealerships work hard to earn a fair profit especially in today`s hard economic times and customers should agree that they can`t expect to get something for free. Its also not a bad thing when two parties agree to disagree concerning a sale or purchase. The manner in which they conduct such negotiations speaks volumes about their respective honesty, sincerity and integrity. By both its actions and in-actions, Camelback Ford left this buyer questioning if the company should be entrusted with my initial purchase and routine servicing in the future. Unfortunately, my answer to this final question had to be no!

please keep on driving..do not stop here
My 19 year old son was not treated well at all when he went to purchase his FIRST car! After two days he came home with a car he liked..not loved but liked! He called the dealership for 3 weeks trying to find out when he was to come back and get the plates etc. He was always put on hold for at least 20-45 minutes.MOST OF THE TIME THEY NEVER EVEN PICKED UP! He would have to hang up so he could go to class or work. ... view moreWell finally out of the blue we get a call. They wanted him to come down that day...really you ignore him for a month now and want him to jump for you. He was not able to go in for a week due to work and class schedule. When he gets there he is told the car will not pass inspection.....really you had it on the lot for sale but you never bothered to inspect it! COME ON! Okay fine he gives the car back and is told he will receive his down payment back. 500 CASH! Its been almost 4 months and all my son gets in ""WE HAVE NO RECORD OF YOUR PAYMENT"" SO WE fax the information requested. NO Response! The we send it registered mail...still no response. NOT A NICE WAY TO TREAT A CUSTOMER!
