I have used Egan Express on three separate occasions and have been very happy with them. They always gave me a fair estimate before starting work, and every time they matched or beat the estimate. Every time I was given a time to expect my vehicle to be done it was done. I stopped by in a great mood with a smile. The pea brain I spoke to refused to provide me service because of my place of employment. And I have been here for 2 months. So keeping a smile on my face, now in disbelief, I went around the corner to the next service station. I got an estimate of half the price and 30 minutes time for the repair. Dropped off my Honda, because ...

Dropped off my Honda, because it died twice driving in to town. They diagnose the problem as a bad distributor. Charge me around $600 for an entirely new distributor. I get the car home, park it on a hill, next day it doesn`t start. just cranks and cranks, and wears out the battery. I try diagnosing things myself--figure out it`s electrical, and related to the fuel pump. Meanwhile, a broken seal on my... view more trunk allows water to flood my car. Get the car towed back down to this place--they let it sit for 3+ weeks, since it`s tire-changing season. Eventually get it up on a lift, and tear out my fuel lines. Bring me in, point at the fuel lines, tell me they`re rusted through and that it`s impossible to fix. They offer to tow my car away &amp;quot;free of charge.&amp;quot; I decline, and push it two blocks over to Capital Service. They take a look at it within a few days, fix my fuel lines (FOR FREE), and tell me the problem was my engine computer, which was sitting in a puddle due to my flooded car. They suggest I get one off ebay, (35 dollars) and they`ll only charge for time installing it. They also tell me that the distributor was never the problem, and the engine computer was likely causing electrical problems all along, and that was the first manifestation of it. Capital: Diagnoses in one hour the problem with my car, fixes fuel lines, and repairs everything for 100 dollars in under a week. Egan: Charged me $600 for a part I didn`t need, took 3 weeks to find no solution to my problem, unrelatedly rips out my fuel lines and tells me my car is totaled, generously offers to take my car off my hands. ...yeah.
