I will never recommend this place to anyone. My brother backed into my brand new car and destroyed the front end. I took it to Rettig`s because that is the place that Eastern Shore Hyundai uses, and I trust Eastern Shore, so I figured I would have a good experience. NOT. Had it brought in for repairs, they quoted 5 days. They kept it for 3 weeks and did not notify the insurance service, so I was without a rental... view more car. Also, Rettig`s did not quote for a new headlight, which my car obviously needed since the headlight was completely destroyed. Idiocy. I should have known then to take my car elsewhere. At the end of the 3 week period, I got my car back. The new headlight had condensation in it (Obviously installed incorrectly), and the entire front end had been put on crooked! So I took it back to Rettig`s. They `fixed` it, and when I got it back the brand new paint was destroyed and the `new` headlight looked like someone had taken a grinder to the corners! So I took it back a third time. Keep in mind, they had my car for almost 2 months altogether. This time, it is still crooked and the new paint is bubbly and unprofessional. I have not completely resolved with them yet, but I am through letting them touch my car. They ruined my brand new vehicle, when in fact it should have been as good as the first day I bought it. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Just know that I will never ever ever recommend them to anyone. In fact, I am going to tell people to specifically never take their vehicle to Rettig`s. They are rude (they hung up on me several times because they didn`t want to pay to `refix my car`) and they obviously do not care about the quality of their work.

recently i had my Lexus Rx 300...

recently i had my Lexus Rx 300 in Rettigs body shop for repairs. the lexus dealer recommended them. The repair took 5 days and they called me as the repair progressed. they called to tell me the car was ready. went to pick my vehicle up and was greeted by the manager. he took me to inspect my vehicle before i paid. they detailed my vehicle. Mississippian Loves Rettig`s

I have a Lexus LS 460 and had a $21,000 repair done to my car. I was totally awed struck when they drove the car from the back. I did not recognized it. My car was black and the paint was so shiny I thought I was looking into a mirror. The car looked brand new. I guess I am amazed because of the way the car looked before the repair and when the insurance did not total it out, I thought it would never be the same... view more. I WAS SO WRONG! I Am Devastated

Terrible, terrible work. My car is a mess. After 2 1/2 mos and $11,000 + my paint job is completely messed up, grease all over the headliner, bolts missing (don`t know why), they ""say"" they broke my windshield ($1500 ws) and put in $200 ws that I hate, screwed up my dashboard, etc. I could go on and on. I thought someone was throwing rocks @ my car. Lo and behold the roof molding had come loose, hanging on my about and inch and was beating on the side of my car. Several weeks ago I called the owner to see if we could have a sit down to go over the issues I had with the repair work. He cut me off mid sentence and refused to do another thing to my car unless he got more $$ from my ins. He said he was in business to make money. He said I drive an old car and if I wanted a new car ""Go buy one"". I was speechless. My car WAS in showroom floor condition that is why my ins. com. did not total it!! My car is currently at another body shop that I sure wish I had knowledge of sooner, they have a lot of work ahead of them in fixing all the issues that my $11,000 + bought!! I am devastated to say the least.
