I have only been to Franklin A...

I have only been to Franklin Automotive one time, for a simple oil change on my Acura MDX. Technically I can`t comment on their workmanship yet, since I have only been there for an oil change, but I can say the customer service at Franklin Automotive is EXCELLENT. I was a walk-in, and I was finished in about 45 minutes. I waited in the clean waiting room in a comfortable chair, and they had complimentary soda, bottle... view mored water, coffee, and tea for the customers. When my car was ready and I was checking out, the receptionist handed me a new customer "welcome" gift bag. I also received a tin of cookies in the mail as a thank-you from Franklin Automotive. They are doing a great job going above and beyond in the customer service department. Keep up the great work!

Great Service

I was leaving the colonnade and the main belt that operates my car broke. I had NO CLUE what had happened. I somehow made it to the BP gas station right next to Franklin. I walked over there and they said they could take a look at it no problem. They had someone go over and get my car and they replaced the belt within an hour. They were wonderful. I checked around on prices afterwards and they were very reasona... view moreble...not to mention it was a Friday afternoon at 3pm when all of this happened. I have taken my car back for some minor things since this happened and they always treat me wonderfully. Also they have a convenient drop off service if I need to leave my car there during the work day. Highly recommended!!!! Keep up the good work!

Okay

They were super nice when I got my oil changed there so I took my car there for tires. I called them a week ahead of time to order my tires, then I called 2 days before my appointment. They said everything was good, and they`d be ready to see me. When I got there the day of my appointment, I waited for an hour thinking that they were putting my new tires on. However, when the guy came out to see me (one hour later)... view more, he said no one ever ordered my tires! All this after they had told me TWICE on the phone that they were ordered and ready for me!

Hood Cable

Dealer in Atlanta wanted 750.00 to replace a broken hood release cable. Said that they would have to disassemble the entire front end to gain access. Franklin`s did the job for 350.00 by using the old cable to pull the new one through the required path. This is the difference between a mechanic and a parts changer.

Trotter is a plant I guess he has never had a bad customer experience anywhere in B`ham

These guys are not that great. Cannot figure out electrical problems with Volvos and if you have ever owned one you know that happens quite often. Also they were not real helpful in trading a car back to them that was a lemon from the beginning. Went to Carmax and traded for a better deal even though the lemon was bought at Franklin. Great People!

Franklin Automotive has great people who have great customer service. Will definitely visit them again for my automotive needs (Lexus, Toyota, Nissan, Volvo, etc.).
