Well,let me start by saying that i have 2 vehicles.A while back,i needed some work to be done on my truck.I have a truck and a minivan.I was told that my truck needed transmission replaced,by 3 different auto places in Dothan.2 out of these 3 places are doing only transmission work on vehicles,so you would think....specialists...right??.We are talking big name places,one of them national brand name.$1200to $1400 wor... view moreth of work,i let my truck parked in the driveway for a whole year because i didn`t want to put that kind of money into it,and i had a feeling that was not the true story,anyway......Then i took my vehicle to Howell`s,to Billy....long story...his team of experts figured it out....it was a crank shaft sensor.....walked out with about $325.00 worth of work....much better than $1200......Now,let me say this i`ve been to places that can sweet talk you to death....Billy is straight up,he will not butter you up,and that`s what you want in automotive.I like Billy,i`m not sure what this other lady is talking about,but Howell`s automotive are the kind of people that go out of their way to make sure that the customer is taken care of.They have done it many many times in the last 5 years that i`ve been with them.My vehicles run great,and it is the only place I would take my vehicles to.Do yourself a favor ,and stop beating the roads to all these national chains auto places ,and go to Howell`s where they are home grown home proud people,where their name and reputation is on the line everytime someone walks in.Do the the math......You`ll save a lot of headache and money.I told my freinds about this place,and they came by and they loved it .....So,to the lady with the bad review.....Come on,get real......

I have never been so disappoin...

I have never been so disappointed in a &quot;Servicing&quot; Automotive business. I took my car in to find out what was wrong with with the A/C. When I signed the paper, upon leaving my car, the guy told me it was just a paper stating they would check it out. I was charged $95.00 to have my car looked at. I wish they had been upfront with me &amp; explained how much their service fee was. I do not mind pa... view moreying a service fee, but $95.00 is extremely high! Their estimate was also high - $1600.00. I checked with two other places that were $900.00. Also, when I went to pick up my car the owner &quot;Billy Howell&quot; could not even speak to me. I had to say &quot;Hello &amp; how are you?&quot; to him. That`s poor customer service, Mr. Howell! Just keep that up &amp; you`ll have a good reputation. I will never recommend your business! If you do have a problem, take our car to Wiregrass International.

Awesome place to take your car

Billy and his staff are wonderful. They take the time to talk you about the problems with your car. Very honest........you can tell the Billy enjoys what he does and wants to make sure you are treated with respect and feel good about the work he and his staff have done to your car. Thanks Billy! I highly recommend Billy and his team of work on your car or truck.
