These guys are great with finding out what is wrong with your car. We had another place put and engine in my mini van and well they messed it up. when I took it to Gardendale wholesale transmission to have the transmission work done, they actually found out that I have five broken motor mounts, that the other place had broken. They have built two transmissions for us and we are very satisfied with their work and the ... view moreway they treat their customers. I will keep going back to them.

Diesels Too!
This guys are great. And should change the name to include Diesels Too!
They did great work, quickly - and it cost what they said it would.
When I was getting my `05 Excursion from them, they seemed almost as excited about the repairs & improvements as I did.
Thanks Gdale wholesale & Diesel too!

On June 7, 2012, I had a flat tire on Decatur Highway. The owner of Gardendale Wholesome Transmission stopped to offer his assistance. He told me that his business was down the road and that he would send someone to change the tire for me. Within minutes he returned along with two workers from the business. They were kind and friendly and changed the tire but found that the spare needed air. The ownner then called ... view morethe business and another worker arrived with air to inflate the spare. This company, with its compassion and trustworthiness, has helped to restore my faith in humanity. I shall never forget the kindness shown me.

If you are looking for an honest, helpful and caring repair shop, Gardendale Transmission is for you. Being a female, I always feel intimidated and worried walking into an automobile repair shop. Under the assumption I was having transmission problems, I took my car to Gardendale Transmission to be looked at. I expected to pay thousands to have a new transmission put in my automobile. Gardendale Transmission went o... view morever my car and determined it was not my transmission and they were able to repair my car for a very reasonable price ?ˆ“ saving me big bucks! After my first experience with Gardendale Transmission, I knew they were a place where I could feel comfortable bringing my car and not have to worry about being taken advantage of. Since then, I have had them do transmission work on another automobile of mine. They were honest and upfront with their pricing. They worked with me to set a fair price for parts and labor ?ˆ“ a price I could afford! The owner is helpful, compassionate and honest. I highly recommend Gardendale Transmission to anyone looking for quality work and a reasonable price.

I am thankful for the day that my husband found Gardendale Transmission-they have done so much for us with the utmost of honesty and integrity-we have 4 daughters and five cars so it seems we`re always having issues-many years ago they fixed my Front End Drive Town & Country van for $600 when all the other estimates we got were in the $4,000 range; they have worked on my daughters Mustang several times and agai... view moren came in well under what all other shops estimates were-we are ALWAYS confident in the fact that the work will be done correctly, efficiently and in an honest cost effective manner. We have trusted their service for 10 years and will for many more to come. Although we live in Mountain Brook-it is so worth the drive for the great service, very competitive pricing and overall satisfaction we have with the work consistently. We HIGHLY reccomend Gardendale Wholesale Transmission to family, friends and anyone else looking for great work at a great price from a great group of people-Tad & Melissa Nelson, Mountain Brook, AL

The best thing that ever happe...
The best thing that ever happened to me was being recommended to Gardendale Wholesale Transmission & Automotive. This was almost a year ago and I can tell you I was pleasantly surprised. My grandson`s car was a mess and his transmission had to be rebuilt. Those guys got on it and in just a week, it was up and running. They are so professional and thoughtful. They treat you like family there. Since that time... view more, that car has been sold and he has another Mustang. Again, the transmission and gear and brakes all had to be replaced. Again, in no time it has been done. they certainly stand behind what they do, too. I can assure you that all of my cars (Ihave two more) will go there for ANYwork that has to be done. They are the best and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. If you want a great job, at a fair price and be treated like you are somebody, Gardendale Wholesale Transmission & Automotive is the only place to take your vehicle.

I`ve used Gardendale Transmiss...
I`ve used Gardendale Transmission on two different occasions. They perform all types of automotive repairs. One year ago, my 5 speed Toyota Tacoma truck was jumping out of 1st gear, into 2nd gear. I let it go for awhile, just starting off in 2nd gear. Then it started jumping from 2nd gear, to 3rd gear. I`d heard about Gardendale from other people who had used them, giving them the highest possible recommendations, s... view moreo I decided to give them a try. Brandon practically diagnosed the problem over the phone, saying there was a good chance it was just a worn plastic gromet that sits at the base of the shifting knob, but to bring it in and they would look at it. Sure enough, that was the problem. They were very busy, but worked me in anyway. The truck was fixed in one hour, and I was out the door. Total cost: $20. (That`s twenty!) I had expected to have to fork out $600 to $700 for repairs. They could have really taken me to the cleaners (expense wise) and I would have never known the difference. One man I met had transmission problems, and the dealership had quoted him around $4300. AMCO transmission gave him a price of $2500 to fix it. He took it to Gardendale transmission. They took the transmission apart, fixed the part that was broken for around $600. The man said it was running like new again. That was 3 years ago, and it hasn`t missed a beat since. I had my truck back in today to have a starter replaced. Their price, out the door, was about $125-$150 cheaper than other shops had quoted me. Do they have a customer for life? You `betcha ! Everyone is extremely nice! You could not ask for better folks to deal with. This is a "no brainer". Take your car there and let them work on it and be glad you found them. If you think I`m kidding, go there and read the letters on the wall from people who have written about their experiences with the repairs there. Joe
