Jim does excellent work, his engines run as good or better than vw`s Jim does not sell used junk engines. He maybe old school but then so are the vw.

Jim is not a "shady old man" he is a christian who treats his customers right. He always goes out of his way to make his customer`s happy. If Jim was not here at 2:30 maybe it was because he had not had a lunch break all day due to running the business and doing most of the work by himself. Or maybe he had to go to a funeral who knows. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

At first this seems like a nice mom and pop shop. Till the owner ripped me off. Payed good money for a hard to find part for my bug and he sold me an empty shell. He closed up shop as i was leaving at 2:30 in the afternoon on a Tuesday. I got to the end of the dirt road and took a second look at the part and found the part was empty. So I called him and thought it was a mixup. Told him the situation he Promptly ... view morehung up and wouldn`t return my calls. If it wasn`t for the sign in his shop that says ""All sales are final, items sold as is"" i would follow legal actions. This is a shady old man who will take advantage of who ever he wants. i was prepared to spend thousands of dollars of money with him on the restoration of my car. Not now!!!
