These guys are AWESOME!

I travel monthly (alone with two dogs) between Nashville, TN and Birmingham, AL. On 9/22/2011, the worry that something will happen with my car on one of these trips came to fruition. Headed north on I-65 about 10-15 miles south of Athens, the brake and battery light came on, the A/C stopped blowing cold air, and I lost power steering. Pulling into the Express Oil at about 4pm on Hwy 72-East, I was immediately gre... view moreeted by J.P. the service manager and within 15 seconds my car was surrounded by his crew, some of the nicest men I`ve had the pleasure of meeting. They quickly discovered that bearings in the idler pulley had worn out causing it to lock up, resulting in the shredding of serpentine belt. There was some difficulty in finding the necessary parts but J.P. never gave up and finally located them in Huntsville. One of his crew (Mr. Nascar) took off to obtain the parts, at least 20 miles away. Mind you, it`s now about a quarter till five. My hopes of getting to Nashville before dark were pretty much crumbling. They graciously allowed my dogs to sit with me in the waiting room where we were visited by Jeff and Danny who were so kind to both me and the dogs. J. P. came in to keep me updated and reported that ""Mr. Nascar"" arrived at the dealership in Huntsville at 5:15 to get the parts and was on his way back with them. I took the dogs out back of their shop for a ""walk"" and hardly any time had passed before Danny was waving at me to let me know they were finished with the work......AMAZING! AT 6:02pm I called my husband to let him know that I was starting back on the road and would arrive in Nashville just before dark. I know this is a long post, but I can`t say enough good things about my experience with these guys and how ecstatic I am to know that almost exactly midway of the trip that I take monthly is an incredibly awesome auto shop. As a matter-of-fact this is where I`ll head for oil changes!
