To all of you that have a burr under your saddle I have been doing business with gipsons for years and there is no better service in this area of alabama. They have one of the best techs in alabama working for them and thats Richard he is the best. Doug and his staff are the best and stay very busy if there is a problem they will get to the bottom of it and it will be fixed. I own Dream Baths of Alabama and they keep... view more our trucks on the road. They are a group of great guys .

"As always, the service performed at Gipson?ˆ™s on Saturday, April 9, was excellent. The staff was friendly and courteous, as usual. While having my car serviced is a necessity, it is a responsibility that I do not usually look forward to. Gipson?ˆ™s makes this a more pleasant experience for me and I thank all of you!"

"To whom it may concern: I`m a new customer to your business and just... view more wanted to say thanks for great customer service by your staff. They got my vehicle into your service techs and were able to take care of (3) items very quickly: 1. Tire rotation, 2. Transmission fluid check, and 3. Brake check & rotor fix. Your two gentlemen up front did a great job and I feel very comfortable with taking my vehicles to you for any future work. I feel I can fully trust your establishment & will recommend you to my associates. Thanks for a job well done!"

"Thank you for being so nice and staying late to make sure my car was fixed. I just wanted to let you know that God works all things together. On my way home I drove up on an accident that involved an 18-wheeler and a couple other vehicles. It had just happened and the emergency personnel were not there yet. If you had not taken the time after hours to take my car back in and fix the squealing -that could have been me involved in the wreck. You never know what God is up to when things don`t go like we want (or when you have to stay late to fix a squeal)."

"I am very, very satisfied with the service performed on the Pacifica. Your technician, Drew, is a very skilled and efficient technician, and I am very pleased with his work on my car. I intend to return to your Prattville shop for any necessary tire, wheel, and brake service on all my cars. Thank you."

"I`m not for sure who waited on us, but my husband and I were coming home from our vacation in Orange beach (6/2) when we blew a tire. We are from Kentucky. I just wanted to thank you for being so kind and very reasonable on your prices. We were really expecting to pay a lot more. There is a tire company here in town that would have taken advantage of us and we are local. I just wanted to say thank you so much for everything."

Paid for nothing
They take advantage of women! My wife went to Gibson Tires in Millbrook, AL to get an estimate on getting a battery changed that is located in the firewall of a car. They charged her $24.99 to check the battery. She already knew that the battery needed to be changed and that`s why she went end to find out how much it would cost to replace it. She did not ask them to check it. All she wanted was an estimate!!! She fel... view moret threatened by the person in charge and ended up paying it.

Tires Pros? Yeah right...
Be careful when taking your vehicle to this business (both locations; Millbrook & Prattville). My first visit to the Millbrook store was by APPOINTMENT, unfortunately, after 65 minutes of waiting and some attitude from the staff, I left. I called and complained to the owner, State Rep. Mac Gipson, which was as useful as the appointment system. For my second visit, I decided to try the Prattville store. I was serviced... view more in a reasonable time, but my balance problem was exacerbated. I returned for a re-balance. My vehicle was rebalanced, road tested, rebalanced again, then my wheels and hubs/rotors were ground down (without informing me first) to "reduce the amount of build-up" on the wheel and hub/rotor, then the vehicle was road-tested again with two people. The result was no better than the second re-balance, which was still worse than original balance problem. They claim its the tire. If I didn`t get enough for my first two visits, I figured, maybe it was actually my tire on the second visit. So, I`ll take my spouse`s vehicle to get an alignment and balance & rotate. I received a call informing me my vehicle was ready for pickup; however, the balance and rotate was not completed. After the second call informing me the vehicle is ready for pickup, I went to retrieve my vehicle. Come to find out, Gipsons Tire "Pros" DO NOT remove the old weights from your wheels before balancing. The original weights are tested first. I called several other local tire stores to inquire about the balancing procedure. I found only one other store (Firestone in Montgomery) that uses this same practice; all of the other tire shops remove your old weights before placing the tire on the balancing machine--even Wal-Mart removes the old weights!. Needless to day, I will steer clear to these "Tire Pros" for any future tire service and recommend you do the same!

These guys are good!
I will not bring my car anywhere but here. They are all committed and honest. Do not fear bringing anything to them.
