Poor Quality Workmanship

This guy lacks in all areas, but sewing! I had him do a boat for me all the upholstery,all new wood and reglass the floor. I got three estimates on the Job and He was the highest by just a little.But was the only one who would be able to complete the job in time for our vacation in 4 weeks.He missed that by 2 weeks `but enough about that because its really not important in the overall scheme I really just wanted a ... view moregood job so I didn`t press him. I told him I wasn`t rushing him, now listen to this. So I go to pick up my boat and there is fiberglass resin in about 6 spots over my boat Exterior and trailer. One of the coats of fiberglass didn`t harden and he put another coat on top of it .The installation of the upholstered items I rate at a 3 on the 1-10 scale do to miss alignment and!! When they put the screws back in the wood on the rear deck and throttle controls they used machine screws without any anchors to attach to and they fell out on my 1st boat trip, so now the upholstery has to come off to put them in.The boat still smells of fiberglass 6 weeks after it was put on.and it will probably have to be ripped out as well.I could go on ,but you probably get it ,this guy is just dishonest.I wouldn`t let him do my grandsons bike seat!! I AM NOW SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW I CAN`T TAKE MY BOAT BACK TO THIS GUY TO FIX IT. hE DOESN`T POSSES THE ABILITY .
