I bought a used Lexus off of them in 08. We have had all the service work done by them at regular intervals. 2 years ago they accidently ruined the tire while pulling it on to the rack for a standard oil change. They replaced it and I just took it as accidents happen. 8 weeks ago my wife took the car in for another standard oil change, they found that the water pump was leaking and replaced it under warrenty but ... view morebecause they were already in there they suggested to repace the timing belt at our expense , which I agreed and authorized that repair. After they put it back together they called us and said the radiator was leaking now, it was under warrenty, but I am sure that it was accidently damaged during the other repair but it was under warrenty so I didnt complain. Anyway 2 weeks later my wife picks up the car and immediatly brings it back with a loud tapping noise. Even states on the invoice that there is a noise in the motor now, cant believe they tried to give that back to us. Anyway, they tell us that the motor has "gunk" and metal shavings in the oil pan and says it should get a new motor but Toyota wants a Lexus dealer to look at it. Long story short, after 6 weeks the Lexus dealer says it is not under warrenty because Caldwell put the timing belt on wrong and all the valves hit the pistons and ruined the top end of the motor. Caldwell is saying its not that and it should be under warrenty but I know better. Now they want it back to try and fix it themselves so they can save the money. And this is where we sit 8 weeks later. Who knows when I will get this back. I loved the car before, and Lexus told me that the car looked fine before Caldwell repaired it.

I have been trying to get her to decide on a vehicle for the last year and Chip helped her weigh her choices and had a vehicle picked in 30min. We could tell that he really cared and was a Dad and Grandfather himself, on top of knowing anything and everything about each vehicle, the dealership, and Toyota. He told us about the Caldwell Cares program which offers free loaner, shuttle, and oil changes for cost, which we couldnt believe was free and even helped us setup a complimentary detail and service visit within 30 days of our purchase. Jonathan Webber was also great at laying out our warranty options and made the process simple. J Caldwell and his team truly know how to Treat Customers right.

The Best Dealership Around!

Caldwell Toyota Scion is the best and will treat you right! My wife and I just bought a vehicle from this dealership and they were Awesome!
