2005 Scion xB. One owner. Immaculate inside and out. It has an AEM intake, carbon fiber accents, upgraded steering wheel, upgraded suspension, 6 disc cd in dash, and red interior footwell lights. I'm selling this xB for a friend (one and only owner) and personally inspected and detailed the car. The only item needing service was the cabin filter, which I replaced. Brakes, tires, and fluids are all recent with lots of service remaining. Wheels are have no curb rash, but they do have external weights. All manuals, wheel lock key, and touchup paint included. A roof rack (not shown) is also included. I strive to always provide accurate listings, so here's the blemishes: driver front fascia has a rub at the bottom (see pic), front hood has several chips (see pic), one small rust spot near the passenger side headlight (see pic). Otherwise, the car has no rust or dents anywhere. $500 deposit due 24 hours after auction close. Paypal for full amount ok but must add 3% to cover fees. I can deliver in enclosed trailer for $1 per mile roundtrip. Clear title in hand. Buy it now includes a free set of all weather mats.
Here's my feedback for another car sold recently:
Awesome seller, helped with shipping, everything as described and better! A+ | eb-11-13 16:55 | |

Scion xB to be replaced by Auris hatchbach, iQ dead after 2014
Mon, 28 Jul 2014Scion seemed like such a good idea when it was first launched. Toyota's aim was to provide young people with stylish, affordable cars that would serve as a gateway to the automaker's family of products. It was also supposed to be something of an incubator for new ideas that were too radical for its more conservative Toyota and Lexus brands. Over a decade since its launch, the brand has languished, and today's showroom is populated by slow-selling and aging vehicles that have often been slow to receive upgrades. However, there may be a bright spot on the imminent horizon, as there are reportedly a slate of new models on the way over the next three years.
According to a model timeline published by Automotive News, the Scion lineup is about to get a major overhaul. First, the boxy xB may finally be going to the big refrigerator box in the sky, to be replaced by a version of the more conventionally styled Auris hatchback (pictured above) from overseas markets in early 2015. Later next year, the xD will also allegedly bow out in favor of a new hatchback based on the Mazda2 (thanks to a recently signed platform-sharing deal). For 2016, the sporty tC hatchback is also said to get a redesign, and interestingly enough, a Corolla-based compact crossover could join the ranks, too.
While those changes should boost sales volume, there's also news that's sure to make enthusiasts happy. Automotive News cites company executives who confirm a second-generation FR-S is on the way in early 2017. A Subaru exec also recently gave a similar confirmation that it was working on another BRZ.
2014 Scion tC
Wed, 14 May 2014Once upon a time, the Scion brand sought to bring more youthful buyers into the Toyota stable. In the early 2000s, Scion launched with its plucky xA and xB hatchbacks, and a lot of people bought into its affordable, customizable, funky lineup - myself included. I was once the proud owner of a 2006 xB, and though the box-on-wheels wasn't really a proper enthusiast machine by any means, I loved its unique driving dynamics, clever packaging and fresh style.
Following those two hatches, Scion released its tC coupe - a modestly sporty little thing that stayed true to the brand's core values of being affordable, neat-looking and endlessly customizable. People really dug the first-generation tC, and with good reason - it offered a bit more personality than a comparable Honda Civic Coupe, effectively the only other two-door compact then on the market from Japan. And for folks who wanted a sporty, low-cost two-door, the tC was a pretty decent buy.
But then Scion changed. The xA was killed and the comparatively frumpy xD bowed as its replacement. The xB was totally renewed, but it got bigger, heavier and less attractive in the process. And then after a few years of standing idle (will we ever see xD/xB replacements?), Toyota birthed the Scion FR-S - a properly sporty, enthusiast-minded rear-drive coupe created with the help of Subaru. I really dig the FR-S - if I had to buy something from the Toyota/Lexus/Scion stable, it's easily the car I'd want. But by offering a properly good two-door package with its new coupe, where has that left the older, front-drive tC?
Scion FR-S SCCA World Challenge racecar, ready for the track
Thu, 01 Nov 2012Of all the many Scion FR-S models here on the SEMA floor in Las Vegas - and there are a great many of them, have no doubt - the very purpose-built car from Stout Racing is one that we may hear about again in the future.
The Stout Racing team will be campaigning the racy FR-S in the SCCA World Challenge series in the upcoming season, and is currently building some buzz on the Scion SEMA show stand. The car makes use of a supercharger that was jointly developed by Stout and TRD, as well as a front splitter, doors and rear wing - all by Vertex.
Driver Robert Stout will run the FR-S in the GTS class next year, with a debut slated for the Streets of St. Petersburg event, scheduled to go off in March of 2013.
