Hello. You are looking at my custom Scion xB for sale. The car has very low miles and is mostly driven in the city, aside from driving to car shows during summers. The car has been a project of mine for six yesrs. I bought the car brand new (12 miles on odometer) and have been the only owner and only driver. Since 2008 the car has over 50 awards from car shows in central Illinois area. Some career highlights are: Slamology 2013 1st place Scion Mild, Slamology 2012 3rd place Scion Mild, two best xB awards at Scion shows, best of show sound quality, numerous best import awards, and a kids choice award. All the electronics in the car were professionally installed at Vibez in Champaign,IL. The installed electronics include 10 monitors. Locations are in dash, the rear view mirror, both sunvisors, all four headrests, big screen (22 inch) flip down over the back seat, and flip down from the hatch. There is also a custom sub enclosure taking up the entire hatch area. In that enclosure is 3 12" Memphis M3 subs and 1000w Phoenix Gold amp. Other installed electronics are various lights located under the car, in the engine bay, inside the overhead gran handles inside the car, ecterior door handles, around the shift knob, and under the seats. Several other upgrades are seen throughput the vehicle. Other custom features include reverse hinged hood, hood scoop (not functional), body color painted strutbar, body color painted engine cover, killerglass radiator hose, manual sunroof, 17" motegi wheels, 1.5" suspension drop from Tein S-tech springs, halo 8k hid headlights, led taillights, led third brake light, 5% tinted glass on every window (including fronts), rear spoiler, magnaflow exhaust (muffler back), removed rear wiper blade/engine and plugged with color matched plug, door locks plugged with color matched plugs, viper security alarm, trd front arm rest, two stinger batteries, black powdercoated grills (all three), scion logos removed and replaced with decepticon logos, blue led dome light, and chrome rear hatch handle. What's wrong with it? Small door ding on one side, small chip on the lip of two rims, right rear headrest monitor had the wires snap so its not functional, when its cold the head unit turns off and restarts when you start moving, and the heater/ac fan is stuck at 2. This car has been my pride and joy but I am selling because im ready for a new project. Winning bidder, 10% of selling price is due within 4 days of auction end and remaining 90% is due in full within 14 days of auction end. The car is pickup only, but if you need me to meet you somewhere (within reason) im willing to work with you. Full payment would be required before any kind of travel would occur. If you have any questions at all or need a picture of something else please let me know. Thank you for looking, and happy bidding.

Scion C-HR Concept looks sharp at LA Auto Show

Wed, Nov 18 2015

The Scion C-HR concept was shown off as a Toyota concept last year at the Paris Motor Show, and we've been told it will show up at next year's Geneva Motor Show in production form. In the transition from a Toyota to a US-focused Scion, though, it's been saddled with a regrettable piece of marketing-speak: the press release says the C-HR concept was designed for "yuccies." That's an acronym describing 'young, urban creatives,' and it should go away. The C-HR is at the LA Auto Show, however, a visually fascinating concept that we're looking forward to seeing in production form; it could be good, or it could be meh. The C-HR stands for "Compact size and High Ride height," partly an effect of 21-inch wheels, and Scion says it will combine "supreme functionality" and "sporty performance" under that "polarizing" skin. We don't know much more than that about it now, save that its purpose is to be "a fantastic urban driving car." The press release below has lots of adjectives to help you imagine what that means; apparently, if you like cutting boards with grid lines and "earthy, modern terrariums," this will be for you. Related Video: Scion's Next Icon: World Debut of C-HR Concept Car at Los Angeles Auto Show TORRANCE, Calif., Nov. 18, 2015 – When the designers for the Scion C-HR concept began their research, they were told by young urban creative customers, "Polarizing is ok. Boring is not." That sentiment was evident today as the Scion C-HR concept had its World Debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. With an iconic design that also incorporates functionality and sporty performance, the Scion C-HR concept is much like Scion's customer in that it strives to stand out from the crowd. "Scion is known for doing things differently, and maybe even being a little weird," said Scion Vice President Andrew Gilleland. "This C-HR concept embraces that idea and wears it like a badge of honor. We couldn't be more excited to add the production version to our line-up." The C-HR concept is named for its Compact size and High Ride height. With five doors and a hatch for supreme functionality, it's the perfect vehicle for "yuccies," the young urban creatives who inspired the design. These customers put an emphasis on great design and wanted something distinctive, sophisticated, passionate and clean. They viewed most SUVs as too boring and wanted something for their urban lifestyle that sparked emotion.

The last new Scion is this tC Release Series 10.0

Wed, Mar 16 2016

"We're not dead yet!" That's the message Scion will send next week at the New York Auto Show when it takes the stage with its very last brand-new car, the tC Release Series 10.0. For its final act, the tC gets an aero kit by JDM designer Ken Miura, consisting of a front lip spoiler, new rocker panels, a lower rear spoiler, and a little wing on the deck. Blacked-out Scion badges and gloss black alloy wheels contrast against this tC's unique Barcelona Red paint. It's not all for show, either. The Release Series 10.0 includes TRD lowering springs and TRD-tuned dual exhaust. Inside, black and red pours onto the new seat inserts, and there's similarly-toned contrast stitching on the shift boot, parking brake cover, and steering wheel. Only 1,200 examples will be built, available with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The manual car will go for $23,985, and with the six-speed auto, add $1,150. It's all very fitting – Scion was introduced to the US at the New York show in 2002, and over the past 14 years, the tC was the brand's most popular car (and one of its longest-running). To commemorate the occasion, Scion will also show some of its most popular showcars, including the original 2002 BBx concept, 2009 iQ concept, and 2011 FR-S concept – the "Friggin' Really Sweet" car, if you recall. Scroll down for the official "Scion-ara" (yep) announcement. Related Video: Scion-ara Celebration at New York International Auto Show Includes JDM-inspired tC Coupe and Classic Concepts TORRANCE, Calif. (March 16, 2016) – Scion is not going away quietly. With a final Kei Miura-inspired tC Release Series 10.0, a display of some of its most impressive project cars, and cool swag, the Scion by Toyota booth is sure to be a flurry of activity at the New York International Auto Show, March 25 – April 3, 2016. It's only fitting that Scion closes its auto show history at New York since that's where it all began. Fourteen years ago Scion debuted its first concept vehicles and announced the new youth division for Toyota that would be a laboratory for experimentation and introduce new products and processes. That commitment to innovation carries through to the debut of Scion's final Release Series vehicle for the tC sports coupe, Scion's most popular car.
