With the Stance GR+ Coilovers and TrakLite wheels, it is a DREAM to drive. It has a perfect 0 degree alignment (see in receipts link below) and feels like a brand new BMW. The Nameless Exhaust sounds great with the Perrin intake and tune. Check out this video to hear it for yourself: I was the original owner of the car, bought new off dealership floor. I do a lot of traveling down south for work, and traveled between Ohio and Atlanta. I was driving it around town in Ohio, and someone let their dog loose. It ran right into the middle of the road in front of me, and I slammed on the brakes and swerved to avoid hitting it. I impacted a fire hydrant going about 5-10 miles per hour, and the air bags deployed. It was towed to a lot, and my insurance company totaled it out due to being a 2013. The agent offered to sell me the car back for a little under half retail, and since I knew the history of the car. When the tower was trying to get it on the flat bed, he cranked the engine and let it run - but the oil pan had a huge hole in it, and it blew the engine. You can see the accident pictures by clicking here: Accident Pictures Rebuilt title means this vehicle qualifies for any loan from any bank, and full coverage insurance from your insurance company, insured to the full retail value. It has been fully inspected by Ohio State Highway Patrol and I currently carry full coverage insurance with $10,000 in custom coverage on it as well. So I decided to make the car everything I had ever wanted. A new replacement engine was installed at 31,845 miles (vehicle only has 33,279 on it now, which means the engine has 1,434 actual miles.) I used all Toyota OEM replacement parts, and had a friend that owned a Carstar Body shop customize everything for me. The car is 100% straight and true, and here is your chance to save $10,000 - $15,000 over equipping one yourself. You can see the receipts equaling over $17,000 here: Receipts and Alignment The car is a joy to drive, and is always garaged. Every time I drive it, people ask at a gas station if it is a new Ferrari or exotic car. All the FR-S and scion badges have been removed, and replaced with GT86 emblems. The car is 100% flawless, and turns heads everywhere it drives. I had originally planned on putting a GReddy Turbo on it, as I am a dealer, but have a child on the way and this is my 4th car. I can include a new sealed GReddy turbo kit to the next owner for an additional $2900 on top of the winning bid, if you are interested. No trouble lights on the dash are lit - it truly is flawless. I would trust the car to be driven from Cleveland, Ohio across the United States without a single issue. If you are interested, I do get great transport rates through my company that uses only licensed, insured, bonded carriers. Contact me if you'd like a ship quote - it usually is much cheaper than fuel cost. Any questions, do not hesitate to contact me at 614-522-9626. Here are 80+ Additional larger pictures: |

2014 Scion FR-S gets price increase, knee cushions [w/video]
Wed, 04 Sep 2013There's not a lot of breathing room between the Scion FR-S and the Subaru BRZ - the two rear-drive coupes are about as close to badge-engineered as the auto industry gets in this day and age. In this case, that's not a terrible thing, though, since they're both so engaging to drive, but it does make for interesting comparisons when it comes to pricing and model year updates.
Late last month, Subaru announced pricing for its 2014 BRZ, which didn't get much more than the inclusion of Aha internet radio compatibility and a $25,595 starting price - just $100 more than the 2013 model's MSRP. A modest $25 increase in destination charges ($795) means that it starts at $26,390. For its part, Scion will ask $24,600 for a base 2014 FRS, plus $755 for delivery, for a total of $25,355. That means the Subaru is more still expensive, but it has more available equipment as well.
The 2014 Scion FR-S isn't getting many tweaks, but a couple of small changes - knee pads on both the transmission tunnel and the door panels around the speaker grilles and a new standard 6.1-inch touchscreen audio system - are appreciated. (Note: 2013 model shown above).
2016 Scion iM is the return of the Corolla Wagon
Wed, Apr 1 2015If you were expecting the Scion iM Concept to magically leap into production unchanged, well, you're a lot more optimistic than most. Predictably, Scion has toned down the production iM, revealing a vehicle at the 2015 New York Auto Show that's is only slightly spicier than the Toyota Auris on which it's based. Gone are the swollen wheel arches and center-exit exhaust of the concept, but the production version is still a handsome five-door hatchback. Compared the Euro-market Auris, first seen in 2012, the iM gets a more aggressive front end treatment. The angular grille and larger lower intakes and grilles are home to hexagonal inserts and gloss-black accents. Fitting with Scion's single-spec single-price sales model, 17-inch wheels come standard. The alloys are are wrapped in low-profile tires, which Scion describes as "fat." Flared side skirts run into the rear bumper, which sits well below a prominent set of taillights and a smallish rear window. The iM's sole engine is a 1.8-liter gas-powered four-cylinder. If that sounds familiar, it's because it's the same 2ZR-FAE engine found in the Corolla Eco model, and features continuously-variable valve timing and lift. With 137 horsepower, the iM cedes 3 ponies to its Toyota sibling, although we don't know if the torque figures are the same. Fuel economy, estimated at 37 mpg highway, is actually 2 mpg better than the Corolla Eco. Again, like the Corolla, the iM can be had with a continuously variable transmission. But fans of fun can enjoy a good ole' six-speed manual, something not available in the Corolla's hotter engine. As for the CVT, Scion claims it's been "sport-tuned for driving." The so-called CVTi-S features both a Sport mode more aggressive transmission behavior and a more sporting steering sensation Β and a manual setting with seven stepped shift points. The 2016 iM is expected to start at around $20,000, making it a potential challenger for the likes of the Ford Focus, Mazda3, Subaru Impreza and Volkswagen Golf Sportwagen. Deliveries should start this fall. Check back tomorrow for more details, as well as a full set of live photos. Until then, scroll down for the official press release.
Santa swaps his sleigh for a Ferrari-powered Toyota
Fri, Dec 23 2016A Ferrari-powered Toyota 86 is sure to garner a bit of attention, as well it should. We've been paying attention throughout this build, so it should be no surprise then that Santa did as well. He's ditched his red sleigh for the Gumout GT4586 in this video. If you've been following along, you know that Ryan Tuerck and Gumout built this completely bonkers machine that's far more exciting than some previous Japanese/Italian mash-up automobiles. Donut Media has been doing their part to document and promote every stage of the process. This new video is filled with the gratuitous amounts of lights, noise, and tire smoke that Donut is known for. We don't know the conversion from horsepower to reindeerpower, but the GT4586 should provide plenty of oomph for Santa's Christmas trek.
