This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. THIS CAR WILL SELL!!! Selling my son's 1995 Saturn SC1 coupe. This car will be a great starter car for a young driver. It has 113857 miles on it. Car runs and drives well but it could use a tune up. The brand new tires have been driven less than 5 miles and still have the stickers on them. The seat covers, floor mats, headliner, radio and speakers are also brand new. The car has no rust but there are 2 places on the passenger side where holes in the plastic were patched up and painted to match the car. The glove box handle is broken and needs to be replaced. The door lock on the passenger side is broken but I have 2 new door locks and keys that I will send you with the car. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. The car is in Waterbury, Ct and can be inspected and tested if you'd like. The car is being sold AS IS and there is a $250 deposit through paypal within 24 hours of auction end. Shipping is the buyers responsibility but I am willing to assist with putting the car on a transporter if needed. Thanks.

Report: GM temporarily restarts Saturn Outlook, Hummer H3 production

Saturn Outlook - Click above for high-res image gallery
Even though both the Saturn and Hummer brands are being phased out, General Motors has reportedly revived production of both the Outlook crossover and H3 SUV to meet consumer demands.
Last month, GM assembled 1,037 Outlooks at its Lansing, Michigan facility, which is where the crossover's Lamda platform stablemates (Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia) are built. A spokesperson for GM states that production was reinstated to utilize the rest of the Saturn-specific material at the facility, and that the automaker will continue to assemble the Outlook for a few more weeks.

GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable

Fri, 21 Sep 2012

General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.

GM expands ignition switch recall to over 1.3 million cars amid climbing death toll

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.
