2000 Saturn L-Series LS1. 1 owner car with 56,400 miles. Loaded with options. Including ABS, power moon roof and rear spoiler. Has the 2.2 DOHC engine. Rated at 32 mpg highway and 24 mpg CITY.

Oil changed every 3 months. Yes every 3 months, often with only 500-1000 miles in between oil changes. (Car has a light that comes on after 3 months no matter how many miles, so dealer changed it.) Have all the Saturn receipts for everything that was ever done, including oil changes.  All services done as specified by the manufacturer.

Anything this car needed it received. (I'm sure it received a lot more than it needed.) Over $2000 in recent receipts. New tires(less then 250 miles), Struts, plus more!

Serviced by Saturn since new. Everything works perfectly. Car goes down the road straight and true. In excellent condition. The only thing wrong with the car is cosmetic imperfections with the paint. Parking lot type stuff, scratches, paint chips, etc. Car looks great. All headlights, taillights, glass, chrome, wheels etc. look excellent.

Inside is like new with no wear, stains or imperfections on any of the seats. Never smoked in or even had a beverage other then water drank in it. Seats are firm like you would expect a car to be with a 100 lb Senior citizen as the driver who rarely had a passenger. You can tell the seats almost never have been sat in. All seats feel great. has had protective dash pad since new. Always garaged.

Engine compartment looks excellent as you would expect. Battery replaced less than 1 year ago.

DRIVE THIS CAR ANYWHERE WITH COMPLETE CONFIDENCE!

Purchased new by a retiree (my father) at the Saturn dealer in Nevada in 2000. Paid over $21,000 new. Never driven in snow or salt. No rust anywhere. It has only been out of the state a few times.

NADA book Value $4850.

$5850 or offer. May take partial trade.

GM Recalling Another 2.7 Million Vehicles In Five Separate Campaigns

Thu, May 15 2014

The recalls keep rolling in from General Motors, evidently keen to avoid repeating the mistakes of the ignition-switch debacle and clean house. This time they're all coming at once, with five separate recalls announced together covering approximately 2.7 million vehicles. The largest of the five actions involves over 2.4 million units of the previous-generation Chevrolet Malibu and Malibu Maxx, Pontiac G6 and Saturn Aura in order to fix brake light wiring harness, which have been found to be susceptible to corrosion. The recall is separate from the 56k Aura sedans which GM recently recalled over faulty shift cables, not to mention the previous massive recall of 1.3 million vehicles – some of them the same models – but appears to have resulted from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation that started with the G6 almost a year ago. The second-largest campaign involves the 2014 Chevy Malibu, specifically those fitted with GM's 2.5-liter engine and stop/start system, approximately 140,000 examples of which has been found to have problematic brakes. The issue does not appear to be connected to the recall of 8k Malibu and Buick LaCrosse sedans (also involving brake woes) which we reported upon last week. Four crashes have been reported in such models, but GM admits it's not yet clear if the problem was a contributing factor in the accidents. A further 112k Corvette models from the 2005-2007 model years are being called in for problems with their low-beam headlamps resulting from a flexing relay control circuit wire that's not meant to bend. GM says it is "aware of several hundred complaints" about this issue, but notes that there have been no reports of related accidents. In addition, over 19k examples of Cadillac CTS from the 2013 and 2014 model years are being recalled over windshield wipers that might not work after a jump start. Finally, GM is also bringing in 477 examples of its 2014 Chevy Silverado, Tahoe and GMC Sierra (though not the Yukon) to fix a problem with a tie rod in its steering rack. As ever, all recall repairs will be performed free of charge, and GM is now estimating that recall-related actions this quarter will result in an estimated $200-million charge against its second-quarter earnings. Clever video selling Saturn Ion "sex machine" will catch your eye

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

"When I think of the most impressive, industry changing, earth shattering vehicles of recent history, the first car that comes to my mind is the 2004 Saturn Ion Coupe." So says Brad Holt of Dallas, Texas. And he's right, clearly. One look at the specific specimen Holt is selling will be enough to convince you that the car "will absolutely tickle every one of your fancies," as claimed by the seller himself.
We suggest you watch the video below to see just how perfectly Holt's sex machine will fit into your life. The end result will no doubt be exactly as Holt ends his video: "You need it. Like a lot." You can also read more info from Brad in an interview here. If only our offices were a little closer to Dallas...

Report: GM temporarily restarts Saturn Outlook, Hummer H3 production

Even though both the Saturn and Hummer brands are being phased out, General Motors has reportedly revived production of both the Outlook crossover and H3 SUV to meet consumer demands.
Last month, GM assembled 1,037 Outlooks at its Lansing, Michigan facility, which is where the crossover's Lamda platform stablemates (Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia) are built. A spokesperson for GM states that production was reinstated to utilize the rest of the Saturn-specific material at the facility, and that the automaker will continue to assemble the Outlook for a few more weeks.
