Beautiful 2004 Electric Blue Supercharged Saturn Ion Redline.
4 brand new High Performance Tires this 2013 fall on the vehicle.
Redline got 4 new Rockford Speakers and 2 Rockford Tweeters February 2013.  New Pioneer Stereo with USB and AUX installed Spring 2012
Redline has 2.0 liter Supercharged Motor, all factory and has RICARO racing seats.
It is considered a 4 Door Coupe - the back 2 doors are smaller half doors - 'suicide doors' they are referred as.  They are great for loading up at Costco!
The car is in Great condition but does need a touch of TLC.  The coolant light has been on since I got the car and I have been told it is a sensor.  The passenger side below the door has the bottom trim cracked but cannot be seen easily - see picture.  The engine light goes on when the car gets wet or super cold - that is part of that sensor I had checked out as well.
The supercharger sounds great and has a ton of power!
Redline has Spoiler, Sunroof, Power Windows, Power Locks, 1 Key Fob, Cruise Control, Air Bags
At this time the mileage is 99,700 but that will change, it is my only form of transportation at this time.
The car was paid in cash when I bought it, nothing is owed on it.
I am selling the Redline because our family is getting bigger.  The suicide doors have worked great with 1 car seat but we now need room for 2 :)
The Redline is in Minneapolis and will need to be picked up by buyer or other arrangements made by buyer.  I am unable to deliver.
A $500 deposit is to ask to be paid with in 48 hours of auctions end.  The rest can be paid with cash or money order at time of pick up.

THE CAR IS SOLD AS IS SO PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS NOW, RETURNING THE REDLINE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. I am planning on getting bigger vehicle immediately and will not have the money to refund.

Thank you!!

Report: Saturn owners offered $2,000 to stick with GM products

Mon, 15 Feb 2010

After its decision to euthanize Oldsmobile, General Motors knows exactly what happens when it mothballs one of its brands: GM loses market share to the competition. The General is trying to stop history from repeating itself with Saturn customers by offering $2,000 on the hood of every car and crossover donning the ringed planet badge. Automotive News says the offer actually started on February 2 and runs until the end of March. To be eligible for the $2,000 bounty Saturn owners must have leased or purchased their Saturn at least six months ago. Interestingly, those owners don't even have to turn in their Saturn to be eligible for the cash.
AN reports that research company R.L. Polk says even before Saturn went on the endangered species list, it lagged other GM nameplates in the all-important aspect of customer retention. The mass exodus from Saturn loyalty predictably intensified at the end of 2008 as customers became anxious over the future of the brand. For its part, GM insists that all Saturn warranties will be upheld and customers looking for service can still go to a GMC, Chevy, Buick or Cadillac dealership.

First GM ignition switch trial dismissed

Fri, Jan 22 2016

Robert Scheuer has agreed to dismiss his ignition switch claims against General Motors to bring a sudden stop to the first federal trial over the automaker's faulty parts. The lawsuit was the first of six cases that were a bellwether to set a precedent in the complaints. Scheuer didn't receive any financial settlement from GM, according to Reuters. Scheuer alleged that he was injured when his 2003 Saturn Ion went off the road and hit the tree. The airbag didn't deploy, which Scheuer claimed was the result of the faulty ignition switch. GM originally attempted to dismiss the trial over a lack of evidence, but US District Judge Jesse Furman set a January 11 start date for the case. During the trial, GM's attorneys accused Scheuer and his wife of lying and presented evidence of an allegedly altered check stub that they used to purchase a house. Scheuer's defense had claimed that the family was evicted from the home after memory loss from the accident caused Robert to lose the down payment check. After the allegations, Furman pushed for a settlement. He called the trial an "outlier" and "almost worthless as a bellwether case," according to Bloomberg. The next of the six trials begins in March, Reuters reports. Related Video:

Best and Worst GM Cars

Thu, Apr 7 2022

Oh yes, because we just love receiving angry letters from devoted Pontiac Grand Am enthusiasts, we have decided to go there. Based on a heated group Slack conversation, the topic came up about the best and worst GM cars. First of all time, and then those currently on sale, and then just mostly a rambling discussion of Oldsmobiles our parents and grandparents owned (or engineered). Eventually, three of us made the video above. Like it? Maybe we can make more. Many awesome GM cars are definitely going unmentioned here, so please let us know your bests and worsts in the comments below. Mostly, it's important to note that this post largely exists as a vehicle for delivering the above video that dives far deeper into GM's greatest hits and biggest flops, specifically those from the 1980s and 1990s. What you'll find below is a collection of our editors identifying a best current and best-of-all-time choice, plus a worst current and worst-of-all-time choice. Comprehensive it is not, but again, comments. -Senior Editor James Riswick Best Current GM Vehicle Chevrolet Corvette We were flying by the seats of our pants a bit in this first outing and my notes were similarly extemporaneous. When it came time to tie it all together on camera, I failed spectacularly. Thank the maker for text, because this gives me the opportunity to perhaps slightly better explain my convoluted reasoning. I chose the C8 Corvette because it's simply overwhelmingly good, and it's merely the baseline from which this generation of Corvette will be expanded.  While the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing (more on that in a minute) is an amazing snapshot of GM's current performance standing and its little sibling so enraptured me that I went out and bought one, their existence is fleeting. Corvette will live on; forced-induction Cadillac sport sedans, not so much. So while all three are amazing machines when viewed in a vacuum, the Corvette stands above them as both a reflection of GM's current performance credentials and a signpost of what is to come. So, given the choice between the C8 and the 5V-Blackwing right now, I'd choose the C8. In 10 years, when the Blackwing is no longer in production and Corvette is in its 9th generation? Well, that might be a different story. Now, just pretend I said something even remotely that coherent when we get to the part of the video where I try to make an argument for the 5-V Blackwing as best GM car I've ever driven. Or just laugh at me while I ramble incoherently.
