1 Owner, Limited Edition, 2009 Ruby Red Saturn Sky. Only 500 built of the Ruby Red Edition. Less than 200 with the automatic transmission. This one also has factory dual exhaust which is more rare for the automatic transmission vehicles. It has a 2.4 Liter 4 cylinder engine. This vehicle is in as close to perfect condition as you will find in a used vehicle. I am very particular about my vehicles. The inside is perfect, no scratches at all. The outside has no door dings, no gravel dings, no dents of any kind. It has the wing spoiler on the rear. The top has not been let down since I tried it at the dealership on the day that I purchased it new. I do not smoke so it has never been smoked in. The passenger seat has only been sat in a few times. 95% of the miles are highway miles. These wheels are only found on the Ruby Red Edition. This vehicle came with every option available so it has the interior luggage package which has never been used. Red Stitching on the seats, steering wheel and shifter boot. Never wrecked, feel free to do a Car Fax. Never had any problems at all. Oil changes, tire rotations and wipers is all that I've had to do. It has the factory slush mats which came with it, 2 keys and 2 key fobs. On Star equipped, Factory upgraded High Performance sound system with Monsoon Speakers, Sirius XM Radio with CD. Factory Splash Guards. Windscreen for the convertible top. Complete paper trail of everything including the original bill of sale and original window sticker. I have ordered another car so I am going to let someone else be seen riding in this little jewel. Convertible top is just in time for Spring. She will definitely hug the curves if you enjoy that. It registers 140 but I've never tried it, too risky, but the car has plenty of power and pep. I am also listing this car in other advertising agents and locally as well. Therefore I reserve the right to pull the car from the sale if someone purchases it from one of the other sources. If you have questions, feel free to inquire and I will usually respond to questions by 7:00 or 8:00 p.m. Central Time each afternoon. Thank you for your interest.

GM calling in 56k Saturn Aura sedans over shift cables
Thu, 08 May 2014General Motors may have made a few mistakes when it came to the whole ignition-switch debacle, and it will likely be dealing with the consequences for some time to come. But you have to hand it to Mary Barra and her team, because they're determined to clean house and avoid the same mistakes. That's why the biggest of the Big Three automakers in Detroit has been issuing recalls left, right and Renaissance Center. Aside from those vehicles fitted with the faulty ignition switches, GM has recalled over 50,000 Cadillac SRXs, another 50 heavy-duty pickups and some 51,000 full-size crossovers. There are bound to be more to come, and now it's issued another 50k-unit recall over faulty shift cables in the transmission.
The recall affects 2007 and 2008 Saturn Auras fitted with the four-speed automatic transmission manufactured between April 24, 2006, and October 31, 2007. The recall doesn't affect models equipped with the six-speed automatic, or for that matter any of the Aura's Epsilon platform-mates like the Chevy Malibu, Pontiac G6, Opel Signum and Vectra, Saab 9-3 or - carrying over from Fiat's aborted partnership with GM - the Fiat Croma, although many of those models used the same 4T40 transmission employed in the Aura.
In the affected vehicles, the shift cable might fracture while in motion, preventing the transmission from shifting into Park or the ignition from switching off, which the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration figures could lead to the car rolling away. Hence the recall of 56,214 units in the United States, owners of which can expect to hear from their dealership in due course to have the necessary components replaced.
Honda wins Commercial of the Decade, but not for the ad you think [w/VIDEO]
Fri, 18 Dec 2009Honda's Commercial of the Decade: "Grrr" - Click above to watch video
The mad men at Adweek recently voted for the Commercial of the Decade (Super Bowl commercials not included) and Honda took top honors over memorable ads from the last ten years by companies like Nike, Budweiser and Sony. That's not a big surprise considering Honda often puts a huge amount of effort into its on-air spots. However, the Japanese automaker didn't win for the commercial you might have expected: "Cog." Though Honda's famous commercial that breaks down a European Accord Tourer into a Rube Goldberg-esque machine was also a finalist, it was beaten by another Honda commercial called "Grrr" that's narrated by Garrison Keillor of all people. You've probably never seen it, but you can after the jump.
Volkswagen also made the list of finalists, but the particular ad chosen out of all the comical VW ads we've seen was unexpected as well. Most surprising carmaker with a commercial in the finals: Saturn. Who knew...
303 Deaths Tied To Airbag Non-Deployment In 2 General Motors' Cars
Fri, Mar 14 2014At least 303 motorists died in car accidents after their airbags didn't deploy in now-recalled General Motors vehicles, according to a study released late last night. The Center for Auto Safety, a non-profit automotive watchdog, reviewed data from the Fatality Analysis Reporting System, and counted deaths involving the Chevrolet Cobalt and Saturn Ion, two vehicles at the heart of several ongoing investigations, to reach its conclusion. If the airbag non-deployments were the result of a faulty ignition switch that inadvertently turns them off, the death toll would be the largest in automotive history attributed to a single defect, surpassing the 250 deaths investigators linked to defective Firestone Tires more than a decade ago. The rising death toll would further amplify questions about why GM and federal safety regulators at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration didn't act sooner to correct the problem. Safety advocates have said both GM and NHTSA failed to act in a timely fashion to alert motorists of the dangers posed by the dangerous defect, of which documents GM had knowledge of as early as 2001 and NHTSA knew about in 2007. "The question today for NHTSA is how so many ... death reports without an airbag deployment and so many FARS deaths without an airbag deployment failed to trigger an investigation," wrote Clarence Ditlow, the executive director of the Center for Auto Safety. "... For the people who died or were seriously injured in crashes, the answer comes too late." GM has acknowledged 13 deaths related to the problem, and says the number cited by the Center for Auto Safety study is "speculation." The review of FARS data, conducted by Friedman Research at the request of the Center for Auto Safety, looked at fatal cases in which airbags did not deploy but did not analyze the causes of the crashes. FARS information is raw data submitted to a national database by state and local authorities when fatal accidents occur. Last month, GM recalled 1.37 million cars in the U.S. because a faulty ignition switch had been inadvertently moving from the "run" position to the "accessory" position, turning off engines and systems that provide power to airbags. "Shame is not a strong enough word," said Lou Lombardo, the founder of Care for Crash Victims, another safety-minded nonprofit that advocates for accident victims. The results of the CAS study were first reported by the New York Times.
