This is a 1999 Saturn SL2 with 1.9 four cyl and automatic transmission. Car exterior is in good shape with no major damage or dents. Paint has chips especially in e front bumper but none are large. Interior is leather with all seats showing wear and the fronts seats with tears in them. Headliner is gone. Car runs and drives good most of the time. Sometimes it is hard to start and sluggish when you try to accelerate quickly. The service engine light is on but not sure why. Car has new water pump, radiator, and one engine mount. Still needs some mechanical work but will make a good driver. Was a daily driver until the end of November when the registration expired. Inspection just expired the end of January. Car has over a half of tank of gas in it as well, and has been driven a couple of blocks every few days just to move it around. I have tried to list everything but I am sure I have forgotten some things so please ask questions if you have them. Feel free to set up a time to come look at the car and test drive it. I will help all I can with transporting the car to the buyer, but the buyer must arrange and pay for all transport from my address in Watauga TX at 76148 zip code. Buyer to pay a $350.00 deposit that is non-refundable within 24 hours of auction end. Car to be picked up and paid in full within 7 days of auction end. If auction is paid in full and car can not be picked up within those 7 days we can arrange for more time for pickup. This must be done through eBay email to protect both parties. VEHICLE DOES GET DRIVEN SOME SO MILEAGE WILL BE DIFFERENT, BUT WILL DIFFER BY NO MORE THEN 500 MILES.

When the deal to sell Saturn to Penske Automotive fell through, there were likely a lot of surprised people at General Motors' Detroit, MI headquarters. Penske released a statement saying that the reason the deal fell through after months of good faith negotiations was that a suitable post-GM supply of vehicles could not be found. However, after reacquainting ourselves with over eight minutes of outtakes from Jim Gaffigan's old Saturn commercial, we're thinking the comedic pitchman is to blame.

588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.
First GM ignition switch trial dismissed
Fri, Jan 22 2016Robert Scheuer has agreed to dismiss his ignition switch claims against General Motors to bring a sudden stop to the first federal trial over the automaker's faulty parts. The lawsuit was the first of six cases that were a bellwether to set a precedent in the complaints. Scheuer didn't receive any financial settlement from GM, according to Reuters. Scheuer alleged that he was injured when his 2003 Saturn Ion went off the road and hit the tree. The airbag didn't deploy, which Scheuer claimed was the result of the faulty ignition switch. GM originally attempted to dismiss the trial over a lack of evidence, but US District Judge Jesse Furman set a January 11 start date for the case. During the trial, GM's attorneys accused Scheuer and his wife of lying and presented evidence of an allegedly altered check stub that they used to purchase a house. Scheuer's defense had claimed that the family was evicted from the home after memory loss from the accident caused Robert to lose the down payment check. After the allegations, Furman pushed for a settlement. He called the trial an "outlier" and "almost worthless as a bellwether case," according to Bloomberg. The next of the six trials begins in March, Reuters reports. Related Video:
