2007 SATURN ION 4DR SEDAN FWD GAS I4 2.2L WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, BLUE EXTERIOR WITH GRAY CLOTH INTERIOR! OPTIONS INCLUDE POWER LOCKS, CD PLAYER, AIRCONDITIONING AND MUCH MORE. My mother in-law has retired and moved out of state and no longer needs the car. It would make a great car for a college student. It only has 54,000 miles on it, rust free and it runs great. Well taken care of, never abused, nor neglected, interior is very clean. However, plastic cover shell from driver side mirror is slightly cracked and the mirror itself and assembly is fine and functional It is good on gas, estimated EPA MPG is 35 Hwy and 26 City. Title is clean of liens and the vehicle is Pennsylvania state inspected and registered. The vehicle was purchased from a dealer in 2011 and after that it has been in the family Currently the vehicle is garaged in Delaware and can be picked up there or arrangements can be made to bring the car to New York City or the tri state area for pick up. A deposit of $500 via Pay Pal is required after bid is completed to start the process (for your and my protection) Buyer assumes responsibility for plates, registration, insurance, etc.

GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes
Mon, 01 Oct 2012The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.

Car thief lands Saturn on Fresno roof
Fri, 06 Jan 2012Residents of a Fresno, California apartment building recently awoke to debris falling from their ceiling after a car thief managed to execute a perfect parking job on the structure's roof. Police say 26-year-old Benjamin Tucker stole the Saturn sedan from a nearby house before striking either a curb or some rocks, vaulting the vehicle into the air and onto the roof. After seeing his predicament, Tucker leapt from the roof and fled the scene. Or at least he tried to. Tucker broke his leg in the fall and only made it around a quarter of a mile from the crash when police picked him up.
No one else was harmed in the stunt.
Tucker had two outstanding warrants for his arrest at the time for a hit-and-run and evading police. A special crane had to be called in to remove the Saturn from the apartment roof and the structure will indeed require repairs. Hit the jump for a news report on the incident.
