I have used the Kelly Blue Book to price the vehicle. Private Party Value: Excellent ,$7,189, Very Good $6,864, Good $6,664, Fair $5,814 Based off of the definitions provided by Kelly Blue Book, I believe the car fits in the "very good" category; however, I am pricing the car in the good category in the hopes that an interested buyer and I can proceed in a stress free manner, with complete transparency. Taxes and State specific fees are the responsibility of the buyer (title, registration, etc..) Unlike a dealer, I am not going to hit you with a BS admin or delivery fee. All scheduled maintenance, All records, No accidents, Non-smoker, One owner, Well maintained... The car "under the hood" is in great to excellent condition. I have all records, and a summary of all maintenance records from Sweedish Imports is available upon request. I am going to personally detail the inside of the vehicle and wash the car on the day of a potential purchase. See included pictures. The front of the car picture shows a few superficial scratches on the front bumper, consistent with a 90K car. Front headlights have moderate oxidation (clouding). The Saab emblem on front and back hood, as in picture, are completely metal now (The Saab emblem was originally painted, see front picture) Picture of inside of car shows a small dent in driver panel at top. Other than these superficial body/interior issues, the car would qualify for the Kelly Blue book definition of "Excellent;" however, because of these I consider the car to be in the "very good" category. Extra Options on car: OnStar (withOUT current subscription), Two tone leather seats, rear back up help (beeps when you are close to something), radar/laser detector with power cord integrated into car (i.e. not plugged into the cigarette lighter) Approx. halfway through the life of the tires. Contact me, if you have questions, want more pictures, etc...

Grainy leaked images show stillborn Castriota-designed Saab 9-3
Mon, 04 Feb 2013The Saab faithful are going to be playing the "what if" game for years to come. It's one of the burdens of being a fan of a dead brand. A fresh batch of grainy 9-3 Phoenix images have made their way online, alleged shots of a design proposal penned by none other than Jason Castriota. The five-door looks to feature an honest liftback, though SaabsUnited.com says this particular vehicle was drawn up as part of a business plan in early 2011. As such, Castriota apparently told the site the final product was to look much more athletic than what we see here. While the low-resolution images make it difficult to tell much about the design, we certainly appreciate the familiar roofline, full band taillamps and the contrasting rear spoiler reminiscent of the old Saab 99 and 900 ducktails.
Unfortunately, we know all too well why this creation never saw the light of day. Would-be savior Victor Muller couldn't quite pull Saab out of its nosedive, and the company fell into bankruptcy before the 9-3 Phoenix could get off the ground. There's talk of the Phoenix platform and Saab brand having new life in other markets as EVs and even as gas cars, but the model seen here will likely never see production - let alone North American showrooms.

Man in a convertible drives in the rain with a Christmas tree
Mon, Dec 7 2015A man in a convertible had his holiday cheer extinguished thanks to England's infamous weather. Nicholas Dodd saw this sad, soaked through couple while driving down the A38 near Plymouth, Devon, according to the Daily Mirror. Dodd told the publication he couldn't believe his eyes when he saw a Saab, top down, in a pouring rain storm. That's not all. The top was down because of the large Christmas tree wedged in the back seat. "We couldn't believe what we were seeing," Dodd said. "It was crazy - especially with the weather - but I guess he just wanted to get his Christmas tree home anyway he could." The Saab driver's female passenger also looks less than pleased by the sudden squall. "His missus was beside him but they didn't seem to find it as funny as we did," Dodd said. "He was just keeping his head down in a vain attempt to avoid the rain but was getting a real soaking." Dodd posted the video to Facebook, where commenters also had a good laugh at the soaking wet Saab owners. Weird Car News Saab Videos christmas rain
Saab's latest Chinese owners facing their own credit woes
Sat, 16 Aug 2014Poor Saab, it can't seem to get a break. General Motors couldn't seem to make a go of it, neither could Spyker, and now it seems that its latest owner is encountering some problems of its own.
That owner, of course, is National Electric Vehicle Sweden, a Swedish holding company owned by Chinese investors. NEVS recently restarted production at the Saab plant in Trollhättan, Sweden, and had some ambitious plans for the brand's revival, but it appears to have run out of cash.
This according to a report in The Wall Street Journal, which discovered that NEVS is having trouble paying its suppliers. One such supplier, called Labo Test, has reportedly been owed some $22,000 by NEVS since February, and without payment, petitioned the Swedish government to place NEVS into bankruptcy proceedings. If that seems a little extreme to you over twenty-two grand, it would seem the parties agree, as the petition has reportedly since been withdrawn.
