This is well cared example of rare 02 saab 9-5 aero wagon with ventilated seats!

The good: 1. Black with beige interior and rare ventilated seats! and since it's aero trim, it has front & rear heated seats as well.
               2. Rear windows are tinted.
               3. The engine was replaced under warranty by saab around 78K miles. not only that, whole motor was replaced with updated motor from 2005MY. later ECU was tuned by BSR to reach 265hp; just got fresh oil change with mobil 1 ow-40 synthetic oil change. and previous owner did oil change religiously at every 3500 miles.
               4. Koni Sports Suspension (adjustable with lifetime warranty) + 1.5inch lowered eibach suspension installed.
               5. Pioneer P2400BT, bluetooth, DVD, MP3 player is installed with working steering wheel remote.
               6. It has xenon headlight from factory
               7. Currently has winter tire with steel wheel installed. If you want factory 17" aero wheel (painted black), you can do so for additional $500.
               8. Very clean body & interior

The not-so-good
               1. body stone chips on the hood & rear decklid (it has factory installed hood-edge stripe) and front lip spoiler has crack.
               2. Driver side xenon headlight is kind of foggy (common problem of those saab)
               3. transmission mount (it cost $20 for parts and 0.5hrs labor) is on the way out.
               4. Front brake pad is start to worn out.
               5. there's popping sound from spring. that's from lowered suspension. you can spend money to make it go away but it will come back.
               6. SID (Saab information Display on the top of radio) has missing pixels. Common problems with saab and you can repair it cheaply.

Saab owner may speed up relaunch with gas-powered 9-3

Wed, 21 Nov 2012

National Electric Vehicle Sweden, the new owner of Saab, has good news for you if you happened to miss out on picking up a 9-3 before the company plummeted through bankruptcy. Automotive News Europe reports NEVS may offer a gasoline-powered 9-3 in 2013. That move would effectively step up the brand's re-launch plan by a full year. Originally, the company planned to introduce an electric vehicle in 2014, but NEVS is currently investigating ways to start production next summer using "a 9-3 with a traditional powertrain" in order to generate more cash for the electrification effort.
NEVS purchased Saab earlier this year with the intent of resurrecting the brand with a fully electric product portfolio. The new EVs would theoretically ride on the Saab Phoenix platform and be manufactured at the automaker's plant in Trollhattan, Sweden. The report of a resurrected gasoline model came courtesy of Mikael Oestlund, a company spokesperson familiar with the company's workings.

Dealership refunds student for broken Saab with bags of pennies

Fri, Jul 25 2014

Every so often, we come across the story of someone trying to "stick it to the man" by paying a parking fine or speeding ticket in pennies or dimes. Never, though, have we heard of a business stooping to such cliched lengths. Enter Florida. Irena Mujakovic bought a 2003 Saab way back in January from Holiday Motors, in Jacksonville, FL. Shortly after the purchase, the transmission started acting up. She returned to the dealer and paid for the repair, and purchased a warranty for future issues. Total cost: $300. But then the trans crapped out not long after the initial repair, and Mujakovic was back at Holiday Motors. This is where things start going south. This second trip cost Mujakovic $400, with her warranty in hand. That's because the man that runs the dealer, Ed Di Miranda, neglected to mention that the warranty didn't cover labor costs. "The warranty did not cover labor and I failed to write that in and that was her loophole," Di Miranda told First Coast News. The young college student filed a complaint with the Florida DMV, who sided with her and ordered Holiday Motors to refund the money. Di Miranda and the dealership did just that, but when Mujakovic came to collect her refund, it was to a bag of pennies, with a few dollar bills sprinkled in for good measure. Di Miranda, doesn't seem to think he's done anything wrong, claiming that only about $85 was in change, while the rest was paper money. "I am doing what DMV asked me to do," Di Miranda said. "It is legal tender." Mujakovic has not collected her refund. Have a look below for the video news report. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Son Surprises Mom With Dream Car

Thu, Aug 14 2014

We can't get enough of these dream car-reveals. Here's the latest one: A son wanted to treat his mom to the car she's had her eye on for years, but it wasn't a restored Porsche or a fancy 1957 Chevy Bel Air. This mom wanted something special – a 1973 Saab 99 EMS painted disco-fever copper. Ever since he was a kid, Corey Wadden's mom has wanted the Saab. Wadden writes on his YouTube video that she first hopped in the driver's seat of one of these odd retro rides while working as a cleaning lady. One of her clients would toss her the keys and let her move the car. She fell in love. After a year of searching and saving, this nominee for best son in the world brought his mom down to the parking lot, where her dream ride awaited. First, he handed her an envelope with a picture of the car and the keys, a dead giveaway. She quickly put two and two together, and lost it before making it to the parking lot. She is so happy and full of gratitude that she actually drops to her knees when he opens the door. Wadden writes on his page that his mom lost her job two-and-a-half years ago and hasn't had a reliable car in years. This car aims not just to get her mobile again, but lift her spirits. It's also part of the Toronto entrepreneur's promise to become a millionaire by the time he is 25 to help his mother retire. Related Gallery The Best Cars For Empty Nesters Weird Car News Saab
