This Saab is a 9-3 Aero with a 6 speed manual transmission. The vehicle is in very excellent mechanical condition with ALL service records available. I purchased the vehicle as a certified pre owned vehicle from Saab of Milford with only 4,221 miles on 12/29/2010. The vehicle is Titan Grey Metallic with upgraded black premium leather interior with parchment inserts, NOT leatherette. The leather is supple and shows no significant signs of wear, the paint is shiny with only some paint chips on the front bumper and several minor blemishes as the vehicle is entitled to given its age. No dents or damage to the body. The car has been detailed twice per year, always garage kept, never abused and 100% stock. The original window sticker is included and documents that this vehicle is equipped with EVERY available option and was priced at $39,555.00! Clean car fax, title in hand and no stories. Some options include, OEM all weather floor mats, OEM roof rack, cold weather package, On Star, factory GPS, parking sensors, touring package, Aero sport package, cornering HID lights, metallic paint, Premium Bose sound system, etc. Dealer maintained with recent Mobil 1 oil and Mobil 1 filter change. I have always opted for the Mobil 1 filters as they are superior. Car requires Mobil 1 and premium fuel, she prefers Shell V-Power! I am selling the vehicle because I require an SUV or wagon as my needs have changed, otherwise she would be a keeper. This is my third and favorite Saab. Of note I would consider a trade of equal value and condition. Great car, no lo ball offers as my price is fair, do the research. Thank you for your interest.

Saab's never-was 9-3 gets a few better looks
Sat, 23 Mar 2013The recent glimpses we've been getting of the never-was Saab 9-3 Phoenix must be like rubbing salt on the wounds of all the Saab fans out there. If that's the case, diehard Saab enthusiasts might want to look away from this. SaabWorld has uncovered a handful of shots of what was to be the next-generation 9-3 hatchback, and boy does it look sharp.
Revealing a clearer look at what we previously saw in grainy images or as a full-scale model, these new pictures show what Jason Castriota had in mind for the new car. The front end is obviously inspired by Saab's Phoenix Concept, while the rear of the car pays homage to the Saab 900 hatchback.

Last 900 Saabs heading to auction
Fri, 22 Jun 2012If you've been wanting to get your hands on one last new Saab but missed out on the great Saab sell-off when Saab Cars North America declared bankruptcy, well, your ship has now come in.
Actually, it came in last year - but hundreds of new Saabs got waylaid at ports in California and New Jersey because of the bankruptcy, according to SaabWorld.net. Those cars are now slated for auction, some 900 of them, which will be available for dealers, exporters and rental car companies to bid on beginning next week. Eventually, 300 of these cars should make their way to Saab dealers, where they're expected to be sold off at 30- to 50-percent discounts. The other 600 will either be exported or used as rentals, according to the report, so "the price of Saabs will not be severely depressed."
Besides the new cars, some 67 company cars, including some interesting stuff like a 1960 Saab Quantum IV and a 1970 Sonnett III, will also be auctioned off, according to the report. Of the new cars, just over half are 9-5 models, some 400 are 9-3 sedans, another 60 are 9-3 wagons, and about a dozen are convertibles. According to the report, 28 are actually 9-4X crossovers, which is more than 10 percent of Saab's total 2011 sales for that model.
Super sleeper Saab 900 does 174 mph in the standing mile
Sun, 14 Apr 2013Somewhere behind Hennessey setting a new top speed record at this year's Texas Mile with its camouflage Ford GT, a stock-looking 1996 Saab 900T pulled up to the line to see what it could do. The dealer showroom wheels wouldn't offer any indication that the 2.0-liter four-cylinder under the hood was getting help from a Garrett turbocharger, a tuned ECU and E85 gas to put out 465 horsepower at the front wheels.
Knowing that, it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that at the other end of the mile the sky blue Swedish wonder was doing 174 miles per hour. The four-cylinder class at the Texas Mile has plenty such rockets, too, this Swede coming just behind a Dodge Neon that did 175.8 mph. You can watch the Saab do its thing in the video below.
