No reserve auction! Highest bidder wins or buy it now and drive off. I will miss this car. Dont let the nearly 120k miles fool you. Email me for a new car fax for free. This car is a reliable dream and has been serviced by a saab specialist. This was originally owned by my grandfather and driven in Scarsdale NY on highways and meticulously taken care of. This Car is an absolute thrill to drive. I purchased a Lexus RX SUV for the additional space and this needs to go soon :( The 2.8 T Turbo-Charged engine provides plenty of performance (250 HP) & driving pleasure and I have truly enjoyed driving it for the past year. It won the 2006 Wards 10 Best Engines 2.8 L V-6 Turbo (Google it!) It is metallic jet black with nice17" alloy rims and a two tone black and white leather interior. It has been garage kept every winter and drives amazing on ice. Huge Trunk space.
The lowered suspension, front lip, side skirts, double exhaust pipes that provide a real exhilarating note, rear spoiler and 17" wheels with Low-Profile Continental Grand Touring Tires(All features mentioned are standard on the 9-3 Aero) give it a very fierce yet elegant stance.

This was bought brand new in 2006 and have kept it in the family. I need a larger SUV for my job now although this has ample trunk space. Passed inspection flawlessly in July.
1. Recently passed inspection in July. it has little over 119,600 miles. I purchased it around winter time with 115,000 miles on it from my grandfather.
2. All four tires were replaced 2 months ago with a wheel alignment so it has new tires. 85% thread.
3. Serious buyers only with intent to buy. This is literately the best value for a one of a kind Saab. I wish to sell this to someone who will enjoy this vehicle. Sound quality may be shotty. Cup holder that flips out will need to be replaced. This can be found on ebay for cheap. There are minor scratches that are noticeable up close.I remover the front lip because it would scrap on the driveway.
I can provide pictures of any of these if you'd like see them before seeing the vehicle.

NEVS completes Saab purchase, earns right to brand name but not griffin badge
Mon, 03 Sep 2012
According to the Associated Press, a Hong Kong-based concern is close to building new Saab models. After some delays, National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) has completed the purchase of bankrupt Swedish automaker Saab.
NEVS says it plans to debut an electric vehicle in about 18 months. When the car comes to market, it will wear the Saab name, but not the marque's well-known griffin logo. Reuters reports that the company will produce EVs based on the Saab 9-3 platform, with intentions to sell these vehicles primarily in the Chinese market. Due to the continued use of the distinctive griffin head logo by commercial truckmaker Scania and the Saab aerospace group, NEVS was only granted access to the Saab name, not its emblem.
Junkyard Gem: 1988 Saab 900
Tue, Nov 29 2016Saab had a cult following in North America going back to the two-stroke Saab 96, but it wasn't until the 900 made its debut for the 1978 model year that the marque started to be considered a mainstream – if still a bit odd – brand here. Based on the venerable 99 but seeming a lot more modern, the 900 sold well to those who wanted to drive something sensibly Scandinavian but didn't want the stodginess of a Volvo. These cars were especially popular in Colorado, and I found this high-mile-but-solid '88 in a Denver self-service wrecking yard. Nearly made it to 300,000 miles, but it never got the chance. The key is still in the console-mounted ignition switch, and the steel lanyard indicates that this car went to the wrecking yard via an insurance-company or dealership-trade-in auction. Since the car has no major body damage, that means that its final owner traded it in – reluctantly, we hope – on another car, and nobody was willing to bid over scrap value for the elderly Swede at auction. Most such auctions have an arrangement with a local wrecking yard to take all the unsold cars for a set price, and that's what we can assume happened to this car. Chances are that it was still in running condition when it showed up here. You could get a 1988 Saab 900 with a three-speed Borg-Warner automatic transmission, but I can't recall having ever seen one so equipped. Most Saab 900 buyers insisted on manuals. The engine in this car is a slant-four based on the same Triumph engine used in the Triumph TR7. By the 1980s, Saab had made sufficient improvements to the design that it was several orders of magnitude more reliable than its British Leyland ancestors. This one made 110 horses, which did an acceptable job of moving the car's 2,695 pounds. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Grainy leaked images show stillborn Castriota-designed Saab 9-3
Mon, 04 Feb 2013The Saab faithful are going to be playing the "what if" game for years to come. It's one of the burdens of being a fan of a dead brand. A fresh batch of grainy 9-3 Phoenix images have made their way online, alleged shots of a design proposal penned by none other than Jason Castriota. The five-door looks to feature an honest liftback, though SaabsUnited.com says this particular vehicle was drawn up as part of a business plan in early 2011. As such, Castriota apparently told the site the final product was to look much more athletic than what we see here. While the low-resolution images make it difficult to tell much about the design, we certainly appreciate the familiar roofline, full band taillamps and the contrasting rear spoiler reminiscent of the old Saab 99 and 900 ducktails.
Unfortunately, we know all too well why this creation never saw the light of day. Would-be savior Victor Muller couldn't quite pull Saab out of its nosedive, and the company fell into bankruptcy before the 9-3 Phoenix could get off the ground. There's talk of the Phoenix platform and Saab brand having new life in other markets as EVs and even as gas cars, but the model seen here will likely never see production - let alone North American showrooms.
