For sale 2004 Saab 9-3 T Convertible, automatic with 112K miles. Has Florida CLEAN title. This is ARC model with big T badge on the back. Has the high-pressure turbo higher output engine with 210hp. This vehicle is fully loaded with leather interior, power windows, mirrors, and convertible top. Has automatic digital climate control, upgraded audio system, factory HID Xenon bright headlights, wood steering wheel and more.

 

Engine has fresh oil, runs and drives beautiful with plenty of power and the transmission shifts very smooth. Tires are pretty good with about 80% left on them. It was always maintained at the local ‘Shumacher’ Saab dealership, comes with all the manuals and tons of receipts!!! I always take a good care and never spare any cost! Has many new parts including new computer and key recently $1200 bill, just to mention few. Adult driven, never raced or abused! Premium gas was always used. Paint is really nice and shiny, no rust whatsoever its Florida car! The only flaw in the paint is the passenger door and quarter panel has light scratch/door ding that is shown on the pictures. Nothing serious that sticks out or is immediately noticeable!!! Leather interior is nice and clean as well, very minimal normal wear on the driver seat (see pictures). All the buttons and lights work properly and the glove box can be locked for safety when the top is down.

Convertible top operates flawlessly, the fabric is nice and tight and seals really good with no leaks. Saabs are notorious for convertible hydraulic cylinders leeks and they are inevitable to be serviced at some point. This is factory flaw; Saab use wrong seals in the manufacturing process that eventually fails and leeks. Both tonneau cover cylinders that are the usual culprit of this system were rebuilt about a month ago to the better than original specifications (cost me $250 each,) and the whole system was filled with fresh Pentosin Long-Life CHF 11S Synthetic Hydraulic Fluid!  (It is very important to use correct hydraulic fluid to prevent future leeks!!!) You can see the pictures of the cylinders, there is absolutely no hydraulic fluid leeks.

Saab restarts production line in Trollh"attan

The new owner of Saab, National Electric Vehicle Sweden, has bolted together its first two new cars at the company's traditional home in Trollhättan. The two 9-3 sedans were built to work bugs out of the production line and test newer components before full-scale production starts near the end of the year.
NEVS acting President, Mattias Bergman, issued a statement saying, "Prior to our decision to start production of Saab cars, we need to finalize a few remaining dialogues to build partnerships with suppliers. We now know that the plant is ready for production." First up for NEVS will be gas-powered, turbocharged 9-3s, before bringing a facelifted, electrified variant later next year. There are also plans to rejigger Saab's never-was Phoenix architecture for production, although NEVS needs to excise the remaining General Motors tech from the platform before building anything.
According to a report on Automotive News Europe, once under way, NEVS has set an optimistic target of 120,000 units per year by 2016, with sales focused in Europe and China - there's no official word on if NEVS ever plans to bring the Saab name back to North America.

What’s Swedish for “never give up”? Saab, apparently. The fondly-remembered car company formerly called just that — and now named NEVS — is only a shell, employing just a limited crew in the land of trolls. But itÂ’s got something to sell, and that something seems like it's really something. ItÂ’s called Emily. The Emily GT exists as six prototype electric cars, according to NEVS, with a combined horsepower rating (per car) of 484 powered by an enormous 175-kilowatt lithium-ion battery thatÂ’s good for 600 miles of range. In development almost since Saab's demise — the company, once owned by General Motors, was closed down in 2010 — the Emily is a very real product and needs a real sponsor, according to NEVS CEO Nina Selander, speaking to Carup. “It is for sale, it is also a joy to be able to show it. It should be allowed to live on, itÂ’s too nice, too good and too modern a car for nothing to come of it. Interested parties are welcome,” she said. Photos of the car show a modern, forward-thrust profile with handsome lines, a look similar to the last Saab 9-5 and VolvoÂ’s S60 (must be a Swedish thing) and a fashionable, sci-fi-ish interior. A hopeful engineer on the project estimates that the car is less than two years away from some kind of series production, but according to the modest NEVS website, the company is currently in “hibernation” even as it continues to solicit buyers for the Emilys. Said Peter Dahl, the Emily project manager, “Many have asked us what we have been doing for 10 years. These days, Saab is a zombie marque. Technically, the brand is still shambling around under the ownership of National Electric Vehicle Sweden, and there are continued promises of an electric version of the 9-3. However, we all suspect that the company is never really coming back, at least not as the quirky Swedish brand of the past. That's what makes watching this latest Retro Review of John Davis and the Motorweek crew driving a non-turbo 1983 Saab 900S so special. This is a great chance to see Saab still alive and kicking. While not one of the more famous turbocharged examples, the naturally aspirated 900S is still a quintessential Saab in every other way. The reviewers definitely aren't sold on the looks though, and there are plenty of jokes at its expense. Although, only paying attention to the polarizing exterior styling makes missing the good handling and immense interior utility easy. Sadly, without the aid of forced induction, the 900 offers very lackadaisical acceleration. According to this clip, the sprint to 60 miles per hour is more of jog in a leisurely 12.2 seconds. At the brand's best, Saab provided the motoring world with an alternative. If you didn't want just another boxy sedan, the brand offered something like nothing else on the road. Plus, drivers found a well-tuned turbocharged engine that provided good performance for the day. It's a company worth remembering, despite the current state of things.
